While biting into fresh pork I heard a cracks and 5 of my front teeth fell out of my mouth. I was shocked!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had my teeth cleaned mid April and it was recommended I consider talking to them about the new Zirconium implants because my molars were beginning to wear. On May 11th while starting to eat pulled pork fresh off the smoker 5 of my upper front teeth broke out of my mouth. I was shocked in disbelief. I called their office first thing Monday morning and was told “ oh they can’t see you today. “ I was like I’m not asking I’m telling you my front teeth broke. Later I got a call and I was seen aT 11:00 am. The dentist came in looked and said “ that’s a lot of teeth. “ he did the bite thing with the purple paper and left the room. My surgical teeth were put in and I was told someone would be in touch. Long story shortened, the phone call was “ good news, you can get the new zirconium implants for only 7,500.00 each arch. “ I still owe thousands of the 44,000.00 these cost me. No insurance was accepted so this was hard earned money. I wAs never told these would fail. I was told this would be permanent and change my life forever! Now I’m being told that the implants are only the posts and the “dentures” are prosthetic and with a smile these word. “ “Yeah, they aren’t very good at explaining this part. “ I told them in no uncertain terms did I want “repaired” teeth. What I got was repurposed and when I asked I was told it’s like just remaking the originals. This is the same as repaired in my book! I am angry, disappointed feel like I’ve been deceived to the max! I will never trust these “dentures” or these people again. Problem is: Where do people like me go? And sad thing is they are building these places all over the country. I could go on but I hope this is enough to stop others from being lied too and taken for their hard earned money! I would have just went with regular dentures had I have known the truth.

In process...so far so good

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In December I went for it despite the high price tag. I am in process, So far, so good, they have delivered on most all that was promised.

Staff was courteous, respectful, and I will be getting my finals later on. Recognition in particular to a young lady who made all the difference, Gabriella, the technician doing the groundwork for my procedure who works in the Roseland NJ Clear Choice and Jaime, the account exec who were my initial primary contacts. I was pleased to discover that Gabriella's outstanding care and concern must have been noticed, because she had been promoted to the tech work at the end of the procedure, which is the most critical. She took time to understand all of my concerns and questions and relayed them in more technical terms to the prosthodontist.

a brilliant and talented detail oriented (Asian-American for identity purposes his name escapes me at the moment) young man. I will add photos to this review, at a later date, and my final review.

Hi all, well i got uppers and lowers done for 38000.00 about 6 to 7 years ago. Paid cash to save on financing. sat in a room with the Sales guy and i clearly remember him saying more than once "THE TEETH ARE 5X STRONGER THAN REAL TEETH" .{{Redacted}}!!! every year since year 1 i have had my front upper teeth pop out( off the plate not the entire upper ) while eating .

now they say the Warranty is gone .hmmm i swore they also said life time ..

so i know have to krazy glue the dam things in or i get billed .now i can understand after 10 years or so maybe having some issues but EVERY YEAR.

just beware the sales people and the warranty .I would like to think for that kind of money that i would be cared for free of charge because its the same teeth constantly and they only seem to temp it back in never actually fixing there *** up!

corporate did a full refund... but the history don’t end there, I have for over than a year trying to get my final teeth done at different providers and discover that it is more nightmare since the implants I have where done at Clearchoice.... many dark feelings and hopeless... my teeth are broken bad and can’t find a specialist that take my case...

my implants are misplaced... so sad.

SCAM DETECTED!!!!!!!

I went in for a consultation. The lady that took me back seemed very insincere and phony from her fake smile on. Her kindness was so syrupy that I could see straight through it as if she was transparent. She did the scan of my mouth and we went in her office reviewed the scan and spoke about it she told me on one side of my mouth that there was not enough bone there to do the implants but that the other side of my mouth was fine bone wise. She then put a video on of testimonials about their work as she took forever to go find a doctor to talk to me he finally cane in with her and he told me that my bone looked great on both sides and that they could do both sides of my lower jaw no problem. Red flags went flyiing then too. He left the room and I was left with the very phoney *** lady with too much foundation on. I was told my cost would be $23,000.00 and we discussed payment plans which would be like a car payment for 72 months. I didn’t qualify for their in house finance company THANK GOD and I don’t have $23,000.00 so I said no thanks. She asked me if I could borrow it I told her I don’t borrow she seemed adamant about making her sale but I said thanks but no thanks and immediately felt like I wasted my time that it was possibly a scam and like I should do my research and Thank God I did! I Don’t do it!

I wish I didn't fall for there lies. Biggest mistake I've ever made.

I will regret trusting them for the rest of my life. My mouth will never be comfortable again. I can only eat soft food. I have to use a chopper to prepare my food.

I'm out almost $80,000 I still need another set of teeth. Once they have your money they treat you like garbage.

Corporate won't help. You Money is all they care about.

No Scam Here!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Missing teeth, mouth pain, embarrassing smile are just a few reasons I called Clear Choice. I knew I did not want what was inevitably going to be my future..DENTURES!

I did not want to deal with denture adhesives, taking teeth out, having them slip and so on. I spent a lifetime of suffering and disappointment in temporary fixes and results that just cost me tons of money, only to be left with 11 existing teeth! I made the call, and to my surprise I thought I had found the final solution to my problem. The Staff, what an amazing staff!

all of you guys were just beyond expectation, by the end of the experience I felt they were my friends, no lie! Just the grooviest bunch I ever met, and their dedication is off the chain! I started the process Oct 2nd, 2018 and had my permanent finals in May. The process takes time, even though you leave with a full set of temporary permanent teeth.

In this case, every minute was totally worth it, every appointment was a pleasurable experience! It truly was the best money I ever spent!! Dr Ahmed Afify you are the BOMB! and so is your staff, I love the experience and dedication you showed to me, cant wait to see you all at my 6 month appointment!

Anyone reading this review that may have reservations, make the appointment and you will be inspired for the life you have wanted, the smile you want to show, and the overall happiness it will bring to your life when you can SMILE and be confident. See you all soon!

Just for the record I am a 52 yr old woman that has an amazing SMILE! that really makes me look 38 lol I love it!!

Attempting to get BASIC information.

I see these ads for clear choice dental implants on TV daily. I was interested in receiving baseline info, such as COST!

All I find is how great they are, how simple it is. Why not be upfront and give an average estimate? Not interested in a sales pitch! Glad I checked.

Received nothing but BS, no facts. I am glad I checked the product reviews by consumers. They give the facts and from what I read they are not good. No more thinking about clear choice.

Just another large company making money by praising themselves. I should have known better. The ads hook you. If it sounds too good to be true then it is certainly false.

At least I now know.

Knowledge is power. Research the companies and the service they claim to provide.

I understand that everyone is different and costs will vary but it would be so helpful to have a ballpark figure to even consider the option of implants.

They think they know best how the implants should feel in your mouth

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My story is similar to others i have read. The right side of my mouth with the implants goes outwards in my jaw.

While the left side goes towards the right side. I kept bitting my tauge. I keep getting small pills and tick tacks caught between the implants and gums . I was told by an employee that the implants would fit so close that nothing would ever get in between the implants and my gums.

Well that's not true. Food kept hitting the implants post. But the dentist thinks he knows better then me how it should feel. They don't like hearing you and will only do so much, because they know better how your mouth feels than you do.

Go figure that one out. I got feed up trying to get them fixed.

I think the temporary implants fit better than the ones that I am wearing now. Good luck if you go there.

Good luck on getting a dime back. I’d say if anything they’ll say you owe them more and any failure you experienced is your fault. I had two implants fail and they said it was my fault.

12 yrs of good service, costly

I had my upper done 12 yrs ago and it has been fine- broke a couple of times but they fixed it, no cost. Dentists are expensive and these guys are too, but no one does what they do and if you teeth really are f'ed up they are a lifesaver. Came back to do the lowers, going fine. I hear the horror stories and truly sympathize, every surgery involves some risk and uncertain outcomes, and recovery may differ.

My upper bridge won't fit correctly.

I paid $ 26000 dollars and I missed an appointment and they wanted $175.00 for a check up. I'm 78 year old disabled Vet.

To be treated like this is horrible. Office staff Yanni is very rude.

I hope your figure of $26,000.00 is a typographical error. I've certainly never heard of any ordinary dental procedures in that price range.

$2,600.00 maybe, not 10x that. Your status as a disabled veteran is admirable but irrelevant ; everyone should receive the same level of service for the same price.

$26,000 is about right for a full set of dental implants (my husband’s cost $20,000 but that was 15 years ago). The truth is, this company’s advertising is misleading - this process does not take one day.

Looking for a help

Does anyone know of great place to go and get a full mouth of implants or if that is not possible then full dentures! I realize that Clear Choice is not the right place but who can you trust to do this dental work as in my case is so much needed medically as my original teeth are making me ill, no to mention the embarrassment! I need to have this work done soon but I was planning on going to Clear Choice but not after reading these reviews. I live in the Tampa, Fl area but I am willing to travel. I am hoping that there is an honest Dentist or Oral Surgeon out there that will guide me in the right direction! Please I need the help soon as I am extremely tired of being sick and embarrassed Vicki

I got all on 4 top & bottom. To much has gone wrong.

It's a huge money pit. I should have walked away with zirconia teeth for $58,000. I've paid $72,556 on teeth still don't have ones that I can eat with i need a new set of teeth. I had to pay another $5,000 for tissue graft surgery.

Too much can go wrong with implants. If I had it to do over I'd get dentures. If you do implants don't go by price and definitely go to someone who's a member of the ADA. Good luck.

I can guarantee you CAN NOT TRUST clear choice. Corporate will screw you over.

All they want is your money. Once they have your money you don't matter to them AT ALL.

Bad teeth

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Well had my teeth taken care of almost a year ago. Still have issues with food getting between the implants and gums. Have been dealing with this same issue for over three months. Had to send ,my final teeth to be adjusted, and that took a month. Had my second set again which limited my eating once again. Got the final product and guess what? Still have the same issues, and chipped a tooth. Missed my appointment and was cancelled. I just tired of the BS I'm stuck in with no solution.

I have had so much trouble with broken teeth on temporary and permanent teeth. They make excuses to try to make it my fault.

Just today I flew in from Wisconsin with my top front teeth broken in half split open it felt like pieces of glass cutting my upper lip and my tongue. They removed it and told me I would have to leave and come back while they fix it. I'm sitting outside, in pain my lip, tongue hurt so much. I haven't ate anything but liquid.

I was told they are going to charge me because me because the teeth are only guaranteed 5 Yrs. I remember their commercials saying the teeth lasted the rest of your life. I was told I would be able to eat anything. These teeth have broken on toast on more than one occasion.

I am so unhappy with clear choice. They are your best friend till they get your money. They treat you so well. After you pay it off they bump your appointments further apart.

They no longer have appointments right away. I know all we want is to be able to smile.

But there has to be a better way. I could go on forever with my story but my batterie is drained.

I am heading 4 hours away in an hour to have mine repaired. The entire bottom bridge broke in half, leaving implants exposed and sharp shards.

It took a week to get a return call, and the only reason I finally reached them is because I called the 800 number on their ads. I have lost 18 pounds, i cant eat and my mouth is a mess of open wounds. This was the second time they broke in a week, i had only been home 2 days when they broke again.

So I guess they are making a new pair and enforcing it with titanium, all for the low cost of another $5000. Im just sick, I saved for years to get these, only to have it be the worst decision of my life.

Janice S Zhi

I've had mine now 10 years as of Sept 2021. Was told the same thing, "no more worries".

A TOTAL LIE!!!. Mine staarted breaking after the 3rd year. Have had 14 breaks in 7 years!!!! Some broke up to 3 times in a year.

Insurance will only pay for 1 repair per year. I'm now out an additional couple thousand just in repairs. **Here's what I found out about a legal action for remedy.** We, as individuals or as a group can file what's known as a "tort claim". I have included this explanation of such.

1. Strict Liability Claims: In tort law, strict liability refers to the imposition of liability on a party without a finding of fault. In California, strict liability applies to many dog bite and product liability If strict liability applies to your case, it won’t be necessary to prove negligence or intent as a precondition to obtaining a financial recovery. The part of particular interest is "without a finding of fault".

Which I take to mean that so long as you can prove damages you can win, without even going to court. You could simply file a claim.

Really? Omg i’d like to know more I live here in Sacramento California.

I had another dentist actually maim and scar me. At 63 I had a four unit bridge in the front of my mouth for almost 40 years never had a liquor problems with it but one of my laterals broke. Not clear choice I’m looking at them to repair with this other dentist did but I paid for bone graph and started noticing a big indent call the lateral the six unit 10.temporary broke several times and the permanent bridge they wanted to install looked like jack-o’-lantern teeth yes they were actually shaped in triangles I have been going through *** for the last couple months out of the $6000 I paid they want me to come in give them this bridge I can walk out and they’ll give me $2900. They have sent me my records in 14 days and they’re only given 15 days to get them to the customer who asked.

However there’s fraudulent documents in here and I’ve been told that’s now a civil and legal claim and I need to keep the restoration claim and the personal damages in one suit and the legal issues in another this is an emotional huge terrible turmoil in my life. Any help you could give me I would greatly appreciate it.

It took me two years to save $6000. And it seems like legally Dentists aren’t up against the same regulations as doctors are and there’s more scam dentist then there’s good dentist

Linda L Qfx

Same problem here. Teeth keeps breaking off.

I’ve only had the implants for 3 years!! I was also told that they’ll last a lifetime and I’ll be able to eat whatever I want.

Now, the dentist tells me that I’ll need an upgrade to a new material for them to last a lifetime..really?? More lies!!

Guest

This is the 3rd time mine has broken just went in November and its broken again they want to charge me150.00 to repair it. If it was fixed right the first time it would not have broken that quick.

They trying to say I broke it in my sleep biting down on my teeth. It's all about the money now.

Dr Lewis said anytime I had problem come on back but he did not they would last only 5 yrs. That's a lot of money to spend on teeth 24000.00 that only last for 5yrs.

You didn’t get the cubic zirconia? I paid $50,000 I’ve had two surgeries now, first one was the major one.

Two implants failed. The first one they pulled 26 teeth and gave me NO PAIN MEDS at all. Jesus H. It was *** Then my surgery last week I’m in severe pain can’t sleep waking up every hour.

It is awful. I need to know if anyone else has gone to locations on the east coast. I paid cash upfront and didn’t get my surgery for SEVEN months but tried to say it was bc of me I needed bone graft. They noticed six infections in May 2018 DIDNT want to give antibiotics so they let the infection sit in my gums for seven months, obviously affecting mood and INFECTION DAMAGED MY BONE Common sense!

So upset I went here. I am 31, genetically I got a bad lot w my teeth my grandmother had too dentures by 30.

This is so embarrassing and shameful to go through at a young age (I don’t want CC to figure out what patient I am for legal reasons) AND they dragging it out. Im SO sad
