Horrible customer service and no phone support!

I ordered $155 worth of food and was promised that it would be delivered the next day. It arrived two days later and I refused the package as the UPS driver advised that he himself wouldn't chance eating the food that had been in transit for an extended period of time.

Reason? Clean Eatz chose UPS Ground instead of Express delivery. You just don't do that with perishable food. And they have no phone support whatsoever, so you must write emails and wait for a timely response.

Good luck with that! This is 2025, not 1985.

There is no excuse for this. I would never recommend this company to anyone unless they were my enemy.

All meals defrosted and spoiled. It was delayed twice by Fedex. Never had an issue before now the 910 says number can not be reached.

Long hair in meal

I buy a lot of meals with no issues but in the balsamic peach chicken found long curly hair. My hair is blond & straight.

Hair looked like it was striped black and blond. Others at work were there when I opened container.

Purchased at Knoxville, TN Bearden location on 7/12/23. Someone needs to use a hair net!

I was asked to remove the review, despite everything that happened being factual. Being the only male in a restaurant with 13 employees it was a challenge to speak your mind and not be blown off.

Several of the employees reached out to me and were completely astonished that I was fired and told me how much they would miss me and my positive energy and hardworking dedicated work ethic... but remember I wasnt fitting in with what they wanted as a company. No dedication,hard work, drive initiative. They wanted people to fall in line behind a poor manager to pawn her work off.

The owner did keep her word and help me look for different opportunities, but the reason I was let go made even less sense after speaking to my old coworkers who loved me.

Just poor management. So sad.

Hi there, I work at clean eats in mentor Ohio and recently there have been several issues with the assistant general manager. Some employees have either been fired or quit because of her disrespect in the past.

I Brought this issue up to the owner and she had a meeting with the GM. 3 days later I was let go by that manager because of "not being a good fit right now". I reached out to the owner Anna Dey. And all that was said to me was management decided that I was not a good fit based on my relationship with employees and customers it does not make any sense to me, because I called the owner based on an issue that The GM Casey was not doing her managerial duties and being disrespectful to other staff members I was let go.

Based on what my attorney said that is not legal grounds for termination. I have a one year old daughter and and just gotten engaged and this is entirely unacceptable in every way based off of what clean eats is supposed to stand for.. So please reach out to me and let me know how this can be dealt with before I take further legal action. I was alerted by other employees that Casey was"out to get you now, so watch your back".

My relationship with employees and customers was impeccable. And based off of Ohios legal employment and termination policy known by my attorney Bradley Wolfe i was terminated illegally. Because if bringing to light that the assistant GM did not do her duties and was disrespectful to multiple employees ; causing several to quit. I would greatly appreciate a resolution to this issue.

The owner has me set up with a new job so clearly it was not based on lack of work ethic or attitude but only 1 individuals personal vendetta against me for notifying the owner of her lack of leadership in the work place.
I worked and covered shifts meant for 2 people by myself with a 3rd degree burn on my hand. No manager showed up to help. I also worked for 4 days while I had covid. I was penalized for missing days when I had strep and an upper respiratory infection.

Several employees were made work when they were sick notably 2 of which whom were visibly sick and still forced to work due to fear of repercussions, which I visibly witnessed. OSHA standards are posted on the wall, but illness is not something which you can miss work for. But being tired after running a race is? The assistant gm did that.

Now her boyfriends job is slowing down due to winter weather and he gets hired my hours drop his increase and then im terminated.

After my conversation with the owner. Something didn't add up.

Ohio is an at-will state, they can absolutely fire you if they feel you’re not a good fit. With that being said, file unemployment ASAP under “hostile work environment”, they might deny it at first but you can fight it. Good luck.

Katie and Steven Lee at Clean Eatz of Hoover, AL have been gaslighting their employees and making false promises (several occasions over the past year and half) I have contacted an attorney.

Unpaid employee

I worked at the Clean Eatz in Cranberry Township, Pa. I had a paid vacation that was approved from 12/30-1/3, as i had accumulated over 1,000 hours of work time.

I received my final paycheck for this time period and was only paid for the 19 hours i was physically working a shift, and not my paid manager and owner approved vacation. I would like to know how to pursue this. I tried to find an HR phone number or email but this seems to be the closest i can find. I ended up leaving the job because the owner, Darryl Duncan, verbally abuses his workers and a food service job isnt worth that stress.

I feel that i deserve the money that i earned with all of the stress and misery i put up with at that location since Easter. Thank you.

We loved Clean Eatz till yesterday when you changed your menu added more carb food, took away some of the best wraps, got rid of your spices to add and food sucked we wanted to own a Clean Eatz but not if you make poor food changes, charge for cucumber water, charge for a drink with the meal and then cant reach you or Don Varady because your site has been down all day. We go everyday and buy for a family of four.

Yesterday I tried the menu and well the 5 other customers that I see everyday that also are regulars walked out.. Bad business. New Albany liked you but we do not as much now. You should speak with me.

Change of season food fine add carbs, no spice, not good sauce choices and no description of food on the menu in the store what a joke. Reach out if you do care about customers who care about eating clean and did have a good option till yesterday.

Call don't email. Make real person to person contact.
