My mechanic's bill kept climbing ever higher
I brought my vehicle in for an inspection sticker and was quoted $500 for new front brake rotors and pads, to which I consented. Three hours later, however, Edwin called to tell me that while my vehicle was on the lift, they noticed that it's valve cover was leaking oil onto the muffler and would need a new gasket , which could be accomplished with labor for $750, to which I grudgingly consented with the stipulation that it wouldn't cost more.
He agreed, but the next morning, he called to tell me that my front wheel's brake caliper had broken ( is, they had broken it and expected me to pay for their mistake ) Final cost was over $1,000 dollars....and they told me that I would need a new radiator for $450 without adding their cost for labor. Acting on a tip, I called their radiator supplier and learned that they were paying $89 for it. What a nightmare ! Never but never again !
When I told them that I had learned what they were paying for the radiator, Edwin told me to never come back. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF, DON'T GO HERE !!!!
