City Toyota Disappoints Once Again

AI Highlights
  • - 1/2009: car to City Toyota; inspection only after payment.
  • - They admitted a missing clamp and took 5 hours to find one; AAA replaced the battery under a 6-year warranty.

In 1/2009 had car towed to City Toyota (CT) because car stopped & ended up in pool of gas & oil. CT wouldn't even look at car until I agreed to pay them!

They admitted forgetting to put clamp in but took them 5 hrs to find another clamp. Ended up with new battery because they "had to charge me for something". Today car wouldn't start; AAA said battery almost dead. Called CT to find out if they will honor replacing Toyota 84 mo.

warranty battery & I was told they don't know, tow car in.

Don't have 5 hrs. for them to *** me around & then tell me they have to "charge me for something." AAA replaced my battery & I was told that the warranty is for 6 yrs -- if battery is suspect within that time, they will replace for FREE!!!

Bad Service Complaint - CityToyota

AI Highlights
  • - Came for expresslube; told a tire rotation was needed; waited 4 hours.
  • - Next day the steering wobbled; tires not aligned; they offered free alignment.

I came in for expresslube - and technicians/service rep told me I need tire rotation. They

said it will take 45 mins to an hour. I waited for 4 hours on the lobby - nobody gave me an

update until i looked for the technician. They fin ally finished and gave me back the car.

Next day - the steering was wiggling/shaking. I took it back and technician/rep told me that

tires were not aligned. And i have to pay extra to get it fixed. I argued with the people -

they offered to rotate back the tires for free. I argued that I paid for the service and

they should either fix it for free or they rotate back and credit back the previous charge

on the work done - with a guarantee that the wiggling/shaking will go away. after hours of

discussion - they decided to align the wheels for free. I'm still waiting in the lobby -

hoping it will solve the problem.
