I am a disabled woman and I'm so sick and tired of the city of Savannah getting grants to fix the streets and they don't like they should they hold on to the bag and do little Patchwork here and there sometimes the potholes are so deep that it will actually pop your hands off of the steering wheel for like a millisecond to a second big roots from the oak trees grow from up underneath breaking through the asphalt which is a very dangerous situation I have to keep replacing cars and I need my car to travel out of town for medical last Thursday especially was rough running around town trying to get errands done and knocked out my gas gauge so I don't know how much fuel I'm riding around with how many times does this have to happen damages to my car the city of Savannah needs a overhaul with people because people have been in these positions and they've become very complacent I don't have money to keep buying cars because the city acts like they don't know where these potholes are I mean after all don't the council people the City attorney and whoever is responsible for these streets they know what time it is they drive these streets and then don't you have people that supposed to go out don't work for the city to address where the potholes are and fix them accordingly you know that the infrastructure of Savannah is bad due to the flooding then you don't want to clean the drains out properly all of them they don't want to assess the trees that need to be cut down so subsequently when we have a tornado are hurricane warning then you have outage problems because I don't see them on a regular going around working trees that need to be cut down you try to go to the news media for help in certain situations such as this and all the news media is building a propaganda they're interesting and ratings and exacerbating situations not bringing relief I am sick and tired of Savannah raggedy streets as well as not providing enough reasonable and affordable housing when you call and leave information your name and number so somebody can get back with you they never do and let's not talk about the water bills how they cheat you it's bad enough that you have to put a deposit down to get your water turned on but then they charge you a base rate every month and then on top of the base rate they charge your charges for water but yet and still they can't even fix the doors for the handicapped people at the water department and the doors are very heavy I don't know what's wrong with these people they get good money but nobody wants to put the work in and oversee that these projects be taken care of so where is the extra money going in their pockets of course they need to and they can do a better job this doesn't make any kind of sense at all

Is there no end to cheat um county? Is there no people not knowing the dynamics of their jobs? I applied for utility assistance to a agency that helps. I called them to make sure that they had received payment.

Oh, no. We haven't received anything. So I called the agency back to apply the assistance. And we had a 3 way conversation so the lady from the agency that was helping said she would call the lady back at the water department so when I called them back that I thought that the problem was resolved and it wasn't I didn't want to receive a late fee well I check my mailbox.

And not only has I not received a late fee. They're talking about. They didn't receive payment and so. I got a late fee and no credit for the agency that help Savannah is a very weird strange place that just wants to squeeze whatever money they can out the poor people.

And if you go down there and you try to park, it's a disaster because everything is based realm scad they don't care how long you live here. They don't care how much money you've paid. As a tax Paying citizen All they care about is coming to work punch in and getting a paycheck. Make sure they have their mug full of coffee but I can't see the city of Savannah.

Doing anything in a proper manner. It's okay to pay for which you use. But it's not okay to pay a deposit and be charged a base rate. Every month, what's wrong with these people?

I'm gonna file a claim against the city of Savannah. And these people just keep voting for the same dumb politicians over and over again who don't do anything but lied to the people so that they could get re-elected at Wednesday get re.

The city of Savannah is a very bad entity to do with most of the time you see these people doing absolutely nothing I have had many cars to be damaged during my 8-year residency in Savannah Georgia they want to do Patchwork here Patchwork there instead of repairing the streets where is the Lenny what is being done with the money and then once your car is damaged they don't want to do anything about it they always have availability to meet with you but nothing Becomes of it they know that the infrastructure of the streets are terrible because when it rains the streets flood so therefore the streets become corroded and big potholes that will really send your body into orbit especially if you have back problems and neck problems you hit a pothole and you talking about painful to an addition I put my things in storage and I contacted cold enforcement because of the Rat infestation they had ample time to go see the storage when I had the key and the cold to get in so they wait till after Life Storage text possession of my unit which they're going to get sued for because they had no business doing that but back to the point is that they do absolutely nothing the politicians in Savannah suck and they are only about themselves the water bill which is crazy they had a situation a few years back were people's water bill was $2,000 an upward now everybody that stays in Savannah for the most part has to pay a water bill I'm going to fix income and this is outrageous not only do they charge you for what you use they charge you a base rate because they're trying to recoup the money from the people because they're not doing their job right it's really ridiculous and the mayor of Van Johnson he's going to ride this thing out he doesn't care about Savannah he's from New York he spent money sending Cuomo down here to talk about the covid situation that wasn't necessary to use tax dollars for that he could have did it satellite to have Cuomo talk just goes to show you they're not for surveillance and then scared just takes over the whole city the School of Art and Design everything is tailored made for them which drives up the cost of housing and it causes congestion because they have their own bus system and Downtown Savannah is a mess cuz you have the visitors trolleys doing tours then you got scared all over the place something really needs to be done about these politicians sitting on the money and not helping the people and not repairing the streets adequately
