Very low wages,the insurance use to be great but cutbacks have hurt that, (extremly high turn over).If you want it better you need to know a big wig from city hall to get ahead there it's not worth it.Lets say you have been there 20 yrs no degree just a hard worker well shouldn't you be entitled to promotion such as a supervisor well good luck here,I've seen a 22 year old punk named Martin become supervisor bypassing a veteran of 20 years and the Superintendent could have cared less, not only that this superintendent hired a friend of his to be our field supervisor when he didn't know *** about the job it's all about who you know and that sucks because you have to worry if your a new guy if it's even logical to stick around a job like that.Well I went back to the city but in a different department "same $#@% there"but half the time I was left alone until a *** named Rex got a little bit of authority and wanted to make the department into what he wanted "you know" fixing $#@% when it didn't need fixing thus making my job three times harder while he's in the airconditioning watching T.V yes thats T.V in his office or falling asleep in front of his computer which I've caught him doing several times but yet I'm going to kill myself just to make his nasty *** happy heck no.
