Lied and later laughed about vehicle's brakes

I went to City Motors looking for a good truck. I talked to a salesman named Jodi and took a Dodge Durango out for a test drive.
I liked the truck. However, the brakes did not feel like the brakes in my Dakota. I asked Jodi about them and he said he would have their mechanic check them out. He drove the truck around back and later told me that the mechanic said they were alright.
I took his word for it as he was supposed to be friends with my fiancee's family. Anyhow, I later had an accident wherein the lack of brakes played a roll. Some time later we went back to see Jodi and to tell him what happened.
He basically laughed and made a comment that made light of it and the injury I suffered. I will never do buy from them again.
