Vehicle Broken Into overnight while staying at Circus Circus
- - Vehicle broken into in the casino garage with over $1,000 in damage and gear stolen.
- - CCTV and security did not prevent theft.
Arrived to stay a couple days and see the Reno Air Races, after a nights sleep went down to the garage where I found that my vehicle had been broken into. My road emergency gear was ALL gone.
So much for the CCTV cameras and uniformed security.
As of right now looking at over a thousand dollars worth of damage to my vehicle not to mention tools and misc other stuff taken.
I realize most casino's post not responsible for items left in your car in the event of theft.
As I had been on a almost two week road trip I was carrying things I would not normally have. Well I don't have any of it now. So if you stay there remove everything from your vehicle. I once believed that casino's in general had good security for their guests.
Well I don't think that now.
The Reno Police Dept online reporting system is NOT USER friendly and I walk over to the actually police station to file my report. I
- Well the room was nice
Preferred solution: Regain the trust that I had in security at their property but as of right now I cannot think of anything that would prompt me to revisit Reno, NV again.
