Provider spent one minute on the phone with me and said he could not help me even though he received my medical records and my IEP. I was charged without being provided a service. Need to be refunded.

Circle Medical - Appointment scheduling blocked

The physician did not show up for the first appointment, and the second was not rescheduled properly. Today, there were difficulties with logging in properly. She blocked my scheduling, so I cannot book an appointment.

Nothing has happened yet.

Original review Jul 12, 2024
Dr Anthony Miranda saw me and ordered many lab tests that has absolutely nothing to do with my diagnosis. He didn't even asked me permission to order this test for a yearly health screening,I did not authorize him and when I went to get those test I was not advice until I was send a bill of $1200 .
The lab told me he ordered this test and Medicare did not pay for it.The Dr knew I had medicare.I requested to speak with an administrator and nobody has taken the time to call me back.Next step would be to go to the medical board if Circle Medical representative don't call me.This is a horrible company ,with a horrible service and horrible reviews.Avoid them.

Password appt help

My computer has a virus and I was trying very hard to get in touch with Circle Medical so that I did not miss my appointment. Unfortunately it has been impossible to find a number so that I could contact Circle Medical to explain the situation.

I sent several messages asking for someone to call me. I still have had no response.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been with Circle Medical since November 2021. It has gotten to a point, that while I love my provider, I can no longer see them.

The continuity of care is abhorrent. Response times to chats are so terrible that I have found myself debating whether the ailment/issue I am experiencing is worth the hassle of reaching out to support or not. Their billing practices are even worse. Having worked in medical billing for years and having first hand knowledge of the disaster that is their billing department is enough to scare anyone off.

Their system is established to automatically qualify you as a cash pay patient if you do not have a PPO plan. Pair that with 48 hour automatic billing and a disturbingly long queue for refunds is straight up theft. After explaining to chat support that I will not upload a credit card to the app to pay my past due balance because I will then be charged for every visit as a cash patient (even though my EPO plan pays 100%) and will have to wait months to get my money refunded, I was advised that I can no longer continue my treatment. I stated that I would pay my balance if I was given a way to make a payment without adding my card to the app, but shockingly there is no option for that.

So, in short my treatment was abruptly ended, their billing practices are suspect, and pharmacies nationwide refuse to fill for them. RUN.

DON'T DEAL WITH THEM!!! THEY HAVE ALL THE SIGNS OF A SCAM!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Original review updated Jul 06, 2023

The site is supposed to make medical services available to the public and to arrange appointments for individual patients. That's what they are SUPPOSED to do, but save yourself time and effort: the site itself is booby-trapped so that it asks questions for which a person may not have immediate answers and no answer means the registration will not go through.

They don't hesitate to ask for insurance information and means of payment, which is obviously what they are after. The site provides for no means of contacting the institution if there are questions of any sort: no email address, no telephone number, and no street address. Look for an address on Google and notice that none exists! The reviews about Circle Medical on this site speak for themselves.

We have our do-nothing government to thank that medical care is so difficult and so expensive to obtain, and scams such as this one thrive on what the government has NOT DONE FOR THE PUBLIC1!! Just the initial dealings with them over their app that they are quick to coercing patients to download will show that if a patient has questions or comments, they go unheeded. With no means of making contact with the institution -- which is REALLY an institution, mental! -- the hapless patient tries to make contact with someone working there, only to see that every message goes unread!!!

Does any of this sound like a reputable institution?

Not to me, it doesn't! The signs indicate a scam, which is what I am convinced it must be. Apparently, to contact them, I have to use two tin cans and a string, because no telephone number is posted anywhere on their site that a person could locate without making a fuss the way I am doing now, If anyone there claims I am being unfair, why is it that when I tried to make contact over their app, NONE OF MY MESSAGES WERE READ?!?!? They are the ones who are being unfair, not to mention unethical!

I was trying to cancel an appointment after I saw all the negative signs, and of course, NOBODY READ ANY OF MY MESSAGES!!!

Does that sound like a legitimate enterprise? They did not get any financial information from me, so at least that protects me from being ripped off, but if they contact me in any other way, an attorney provided me with the text of a letter declaring me to be collection-proof, and that's what they'll get from me!

Pros:
  • Offers medical services with reasonable waiting times
Cons:
  • No address telephone number or email address posted
  • Just save yourself trouble stay away
  • Too many signs of a scam

Preferred solution: I doubt they'll give me anything, so I don't see the point in making demands that will never be honored. There's a limit to how long my comment can be here.
