Pushy Service Reps
I just got back from a service appointment to have my 2013 Beetle (which I purchased new from them in 2013) inspected and an oil change. The Service Rep/., John, did not listen to a single thing I said. Hd kept trying to push other services on me. I understand that is their job to make "sugestions" but when I politely refuse and he continues to push, it really pushes my buttons. As it was it cost me $138.30. He kept pushing a tire rotation and cabin filter replacement which would have put my bill over $200. The car has 14,040 miles on it because I am now retired and we use my husband's car most of the time. I kept telling him I only put 350 miles on it in the last year and did not want the filter at this time. He said "it did not get 350 miles on it sitting in the garage, someone used it". I paid my bill and told him I did not like pressure and did not appreciate his pushing me to buy more things and that I would never be back. This was my first Volkswagen purchase and will be my last. Up until the warranty expired this past July I have been okay with the service. Not anymore.
