Verified ReviewerCigna employees sent me in circles for months
I have been with Cigna several years. 2021 Cigna started Health Today/OTC I noticed that the company gave incentives for yearly exams, Mamagrams, and other medical procedure.
This year I tried to find out why my incentives weren't given to me. I had my Mamagram 12/29/2023, it was paid January in Jan. 2024. I also had my yearly exam with my primary doctor Jan.
8, 2024. I kept call the company and the employees kept taking me from one department to another. I finally filed a grievance to get an investigation after 3 months. Now I received a letter telling me that I already received my 2023 and that is that, the end.
I am asking for my 2024 benefits from my mammogram performed 12/29/2023 paid for in January 2024 and my yearly exam performed by my primary doctor 01/08/2024.THIS IS CRAZY BECAUSE last I received my benefits and it was done the way mammogram in Dec.2022 and yearly exam I performed in January as it has for years. I want my benefits. They wouldn't send my change of benefits booklet or help me in any way. Not one dentist has anything good to say so I have to find a new company not to mention they are just rotten this year.
I can't believe they used to be good. I don't know what happened
- Bad business ethics
Preferred solution: I want only my BENEFITS DUE ME, Cigna has been holding my incentives on legitimate medical procedures. $30 fir yearly exam and $30 for my mammogram performed 12/29/2023
User's recommendation: Look into other companies Cigna is not the company it was a good company
Reality versus advertising misrepresentation
Overall, a multi-year downward spiral in both quality and quantity of service best summarized by a host of relevant adjectives...
dishonest
indifferent
obstruction
obfuscation
Gordion knot of bureaucratic jibberish
ill to non-informed representativesfailure to respond to valid issues
progressive problem in obtaining prescriptions online
progressive changing tier 1 and 2 meds to tiers 3/4/5
poorly educated and non-dedicated employees working from home with dogs barking, children screaming, and men in background complaining loudly
representatives who have little to no competency in English with ghetto-jive being the lingua franca
Preferred solution: heal yourselves
User's recommendation: don't become a "future customer"...choose wisely
Billing Part D and I'm not a member!
Cigna is billing Medicare for Part D coverage but I am NOT a member. I applied to Cigna, didn't like their coverage, and withdrew the application, they acknowledged that I was no longer applying.
Now, two months later, I am being charged for Part D, but I am on another plan. It is impossible to contact Cigna CS, I was on hold, on two seperate days, for more than an hour.
No valid email address to send complaints to. DO NOT USE CIGNA!
User's recommendation: do not even inquire, they will sign you up whether you want it or not
