Horrible experience! My car would not start, so I had it towed to the dealership thinking they would help me out.
They told me it would first require a 2 hour diagnostic that would cost me over $400. I assumed that was normal and didn't know otherwise so i said yes. They called me 4 hours later and told me that i needed 2 batteries for $989 (before tax) and then a throttle body and emission service for an additional $658. I told them that they serviced my car in December and already had that service done and they claimed i needed it again.
What a scam and rip off. I checked with a mechanic and he confirmed that this was an unnecessary service. I went to get my car, they would only release it until after i paid the diagnostic fee and now i am out $478 and got ZERO for my experience!
I am never going to this dealer again and i would recommend that everyone else STAY FAR AWAY! They will only take you money and not provide you with any worthwhile service!
After this debacle, I reached out to AAA, they came and did a computer diagnosis in 2 minutes, did not charge me a dime for the diagnosis and then charged me $198 for a new battery and the car is now working just fine!

Bad Dealership: Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Rt.4 Paramus, NJ
Route 4 Dodge/Jeep, Paramus, NJ
Horrible dealer. They don't return calls, been waiting for six weeks for a loaner to bring a previously preowned vehicle in for wet floors in a 2017 Jeep Renegade. They just don't care! Call corporate they don't care.
No one seems to care. Pay all this money & can't get help!
All you have to do is read all the bad comments on the internet about Jeep's poor customer service, service department; you have to bring the vehicle back numerous times & the problem still is not fixed. Good Luck even getting a loaner, oh this excuse & that excuse.
Here is an idea, how about you correct the problem so there is good information about Jeeps. Wish we knew this all before we invested all this money.
- Nothing about my experience was good to date

Poor Customer Service Cont.
Eddie from parts called me on Oct 21. and told me the key was in and we made an appointment for Oct 31.
I told him I have other issues I would like to have looked at while I was there and he said no problem. I show up today, Oct. 31 for my appointment and was told by service that I did not have an appointment. I showed the woman the confirmation e-mail for the service appointment and she said "that's just a reminder".
I told her my story and she said go see Eddie in parts. She also said there would be no time to look at my truck and parts has a guy to program the key. I go over to parts, ask for Eddie, but Eddie was too busy to deal with my problem. I tried to explain to guy helping me that Eddie ordered me a key and it has to be programmed.
He said go to service because they don't have a guy who programs keys. Long story short, I am more than frustrated and pissed off. After I showed Eddie how pissed off I was they got the key and programed it after 1.5 hours. I was also asked my someone in service if I would like to leave the truck there until about 12 pm so they can look at my other issues, by the way which is my front axle banging around and making all types of noise.
My mystery appointment was for 9am.
If you are reading this please don't do business with anyone named EDDY or EDDIE from sales or parts, because they both don't care about customer service. This is the service you get when you lease $55,000 truck ?

Poor Customer Service
I leased a new 2015 Ram Rebel from Rt. 4 Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Paramus, NJ on Aug.
20, 2015. The truck had 700 miles and only had one key. I was told by the salesman, Eddy Ortega, that he would order the 2nd key and mail it to my house in New Rochelle, NY, along with my NY registration in about 10 business days. I waited 15 business and attempted to contact him for several days by cellphone, text, e-mail, and by calling the dealership's front desk only to be told he would call me back.
My temporary NJ tag was going to expire in a week (Sept. 20) and I still had no registration and no 2nd key and I could not contact Eddy. So I had a friend of mine call the dealership and ask for Eddy and pretend she was interested in purchasing a new vehicle. By some miracle Eddy picked up right away only to find out that my friend was pretending to be my angry wife and she wanted to know what was going on with my NY tag and my 2nd key.
Eddy told her that he had to order the key and I would have to come to NJ to have it programmed. This is now 3 weeks later and he still had not ordered the key, and I has now informed I would have to go back to the dealer to have the key programmed. Luckily my NY registration, showed up on Sept.19, the day before it expired. So i waited another month and tried to contact Eddy to find out what was going on with the 2nd key.
Again, I could not contact him by any means. So I called the dealer and asked for a sales manager. I told the woman at the front desk the whole story, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and was told that he would call me "tomorrow". I told her absolutely not I need to speak to him right away.
I was put on hold again for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and told the receptionist that I would not stop calling until I speak to the sales manager. Finally the "sales manager" picked up, who I believe to be another salesman covering for Eddy.
I told him the story, he apologized and told me he would take care of my problem. I received a phone call the next day from "Eddie" from the parts dept and he put the order in for my key.

Management is JOKE!
I sold my vehicle that I purchased an extended warranty on, I was told by finance if I sell my car that I would be able to get a refund.... YEAH RIGHT!
I faxed them the forms in August and they STILL have not sent my $$... I spoke to "acting gm" Milton and "someone in finance" Tim and they just keep giving me the run around... these people are the *** of the car business... shame on me for going to such a mess and classless place...
Today is January 22, 2013, I think it is safe to say I will never see my money again... Next step BBB and attorney gen
