The worst customer service
- - The rifle has been with the company for 4.5 months and no one answers the phone.
- - The reviewer left many voicemails and emails and says not to buy a rifle.
Good luck and even having them pick up the phone. Theyve had my rifle for 4 1/2 months and no one picks up the phone and Ive left two dozen voicemails and at least a dozen emails.
Dont ever ever buy a rifle from this company. The worst ever.

- - Purchased Ridgeline .308 Aug 3, 2023, possession Aug 15.
- - Money-back promo over $2,000 denied; bought before Aug 14; reply came only after I called.
One and Done Customer:
Trying to make this easy to follow. I purchased a new Ridgeline .308 from a dealer in Ca.
on August 3, 2023. After the required background checks, I took possession of the gun on August 15th which is clearly visible in the paperwork I sent them.
1. The Dealer had NO advance notice that Christensen Arms would be offering a promotion starting on the 14th of Aug. or they would have advised me and I would have waited.
At the same time I purchased an HK pistol which did have an expired promotion which HK honored and extended for their customers
2. I immediately sent in my registration for the Christensen Ridgeline and saw the promotion on their website for money back if over $2000 was spent, so I sent in the paperwork
3. WEEKS later (9/19/23)and only AFTER I phoned to inquire, did I get a response of NO you are not eligible. You purchased the gun before the 14th.
Yes I purchased the 3rd and took legal possession after the awaited time on the 15th.
In my opinion and yes it is MY opinion, if Christensen Arms wants to keep customers they should be willing to look at ALL aspects concerning the purchase of one of their weapons. Im not quibbling over weeks or months but 1 day.
Also, what is most annoying is that I had to pursue the company for a response. Had I not phoned them I would still be waiting.
My final takeaway, while the rifle I bought is decent enough, there are many better for less money and amazing customer service
My advice, take into consideration the size of the company and their willingness to keep customers.
I had no problem receiving the $200 for the HK handgun I purchased which considerably less money than the $2200 I paid for the rifle.
So this was my one and only exchange with Christensen Arms. Lets hope the weapon performs well and I do not have to reach out for service.
- Weapon is a decent gun
- Ridgeline 308 is pricey
Preferred solution: Honor the date in my official receipt
User's recommendation: deal with a company that values it’s customers and doesn’t need to quibble about dates on a receipt

- - Ordered a 6 mm Creedmoor MPR; it arrived in 3 days, brand new.
- - Hard to chamber and extract; brass scarring and two chamber gashes.
Ordered A 6 mm Creedmore Mpr. The gun showed up 3 days later I was ecstatic.
I wanted to feel how the gun cycled rounds before I shot it for the first time, I noticed right away that it was hard to get a bullet in the chamber and even more difficult to extract the round. Upon further inspection I noticed the extracted rounds had scarring on the brass and then looked at the chamber and noticed 2 large gashes in the chamber. I took the gun back to basin sports and they sent it off for a repair.
Its been three weeks now and Im hoping the gun dont show up with a bill attached for the repair as the gun was brand new never been shot or disassembled. I spent a lot of money on this gun and so far, its been a bad experience.
- Bad experience first time buyer
