My bill will be 240 bucks a month and i am not even home. Ac off heater off.

happends every time it rains. power out again.

and i work out of town for months at a time and still get a high electric bill . ac off and heater off still had a 150 dollar bill i guess my refrigerator really uses alot of power.

At some point in the near future, I anticipate a federal class-action lawsuit to be filed in order to relieve the consumers of this criminal organization. There is no way on this planet that an electric provider in the same region as a competitor - be legally able to charge their customers 48% more per kilo-watt hour than the nearest competitor in the region; a competitor that the public has no ability to do business with due to the lack of electrical deregulation in Oklahoma.

People of this area need to band together and step up the heat.

And then, file a class-action lawsuit. Organize, meet, plan, take on legal representation of the highest order. That is one of the issues, here. The citizens under control of this criminal organization are peaceful and enjoy their sense of independence and freedom where they live.

But there will be a boiling point, a rallying point, and that time is coming. Get ready for it.

It look to me like this three districk election and appointing board members by out going members is a joke!!!!!!!!!!

My bill is rarely under $600, received a bill for $300 some LYHP paid $250 which left me with a $80 bill still do but when I received my bill the next month it was almost $1000 tell me how could this be I'm disabled and live on a fixed income this company is killing me who or what can I do?

I am an elderly woman and I stay in bed all day.I don't use any power. Now I have gotten 3monthly bills from Choctaw electric for 500.00 each month.this company is making consumers pay for something other than our bills.someone needs to investigate this company.

I pay all this money for electric but everytime the wind blow it goes out and it takes them hrs just to get it back on i have a son with asthma and its acting up as we speak but no electricity to give him a treatment so now what im tired of paying 200 dollars a month for service that goes out every time the wind blow seriously people u need to cut back our bill or something dang electricity has been out for 3hrs now what's the hold up we should get a discount on next months bill due to this *** this is ridiculous come on Choctaw Electric u all can do better than this i no well off to the er for a breathing treatment due to no electricity sorry *** electric company

This Non regulated electric coop is part of a state wide consortium-Western Farmers Electric Cooperative.Since moving to SE Oklahoma aprox 4 months ago there have been numerous issues with this company 1) Local Company employees that snoop and trespass on the private property of customers-They insist upon being given access to the property but then make no effort what sover to control key custody-The punk *** son of an adjacent property owner worked for this utility and gave the key out to all of his buddies so that they could snoop.Other employees of Choctaw Electric also snoop and come on the property at all hours under the premise of ' Maintenance"...They are SNOOPING.To date have gotten NO ASSISTANCE ON THIS.## See email from manager posted below##Property is posted and any one coming on without consent will be shot-Simple as that.Utility has been put on notice to ONLY come on property during an outage-Otherwise STAY THE *** OUT.If the lock is cut on my gate it BETTER be for a good reason...2) Rates are ridiculously high-I have 3 security lights and was told that they were flat rate priced-What they failed to mention is that extra added ' Surcharge every month.In addition, I am by myself in a small travel trailer-Very minimal usage.My bill averages 130.00 a month-I shudder to think about what some one with a house and a family goes through-When I did own a home my electric bill no matter what time of year was always under 100./month.What I suspect is going on is that tribal members are given reduced rates while the rest of us poor slobs foot the bill-Either that or these are some greedy sobs.

"Ms. XXXXX,Yard lights are a flat fee, we have a direct pass through from our provider of the power cost adjustment. It is charged to us and we therefore pass along actual cost rather than marking up charge to encompass the fluctuating costs. It is in my opinion the fairest way to structure the fees.

As far as Choctaw Electric employees trespassing on your property, the person you named is not an employee of ours therefore there is nothing more I can do to assist you on this matter. I suggest you call the appropriate authorities to remedy your problem.

Security Light PCA???
