They will not release money I have earned via sales on their site

  • Chip took over TeeChip; I sell designs and earn profits.
  • Withdrawal is pending three weeks; they request ID, credit-card copy, and PayPal screenshot.
Original review updated May 12, 2021

Chip has taken over TeeChip, and online print on demand tee shirt company. I am a seller.

I upload designs into my "store" and get paid a profit when they sell.

I requested a withdrawal of money I earned, and it has been listing as "withdrawal pending" for three weeks. I finally got in touch with someone in their Vietnamese customer service center, but they want information from me that has nothing to do with my relationship with them. My profits are automatically deposited in my PayPal account, which has not changed since I started selling with them. They want a photo ID to verify myself.

Why? They have never seen me to know what I look like? A copy of a credit card. Why?

I don't use a credit card for profit withdrawals. They want a screenshot of my PayPal account dashboard. Nothing on my PayPal dashboard identifies me. It only shows other transactions I have made, which is none of their business.

They want to know if I'm a drop shipper! What does that have to do with me withdrawing money I earned selling tee shirts on their site! By the way, all sales are drop shipped directly to the buyer..... so of course I'm a drop shipper!

I was not a big seller, making only a few hundred dollars each year as a little hobby for a specific interest group. The amount of money I'm waiting to get is a mere $162. But it's money I earned via TeeChip, via legitimate sale. Hardly worth getting an attorney for.

But I feel that something has to be done! company.

Loss:
$162

Preferred solution: I want the money that is pending in my account to be released to my PayPal account!! It is money I earned via tee shirt sales and have all sales records!

User's recommendation: Avoid using Chip for on demand printing
