Chicago Auto Place sold me a broken car and now they don't respond to my calls...

On August 8 2017, I purchased a Range Rover Sport Supercharged 2008. On August 12 the suspension light went on.

I took the car to the Land Rover and they gave me a quote for $10,780 in repairs. The suspension compressor, the catalytic converter and the front sway bar were broken (among needing all the fluids to be change, the windshield wiper motor to be broken and a tail light to also be off). I called Chicago Auto Place and they told me they would fix it. 3 weeks later, they gave me the car back saying it was fix.

4 days later, the light went on again. This time, when I called, no-one responded to my phone calls nor my emails. I took it to the Land Rover again, and the confirmed my fears, the car was exactly the same, the only thing they fixed was the motor for the windshield wiper and the tail gate, and the changed the two front lower control bars, to reduce the sensitivity on the suspension sensor. I have been trying to contact with the owners, the manager, and everyone I knew there.

No one, but the sales person Anwar, responded.

But not even him, has been able to make them call me back to at least have an explanation on why did they lied to me...Now I am stuck with a broken car, and a quote to fix it for $10,780... This people have beautiful inventory, but make sure you take your future car to an independent mechanic BEFORE you sing anything.

Chicago Auto Place - Customer Care Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

"STAY AWAY from this dealership! Mario was rude and made several threats and refused to issue a full refund to me.

They lied to the finance company and told them that I gave them $3,500 for a down payment when in fact I had only given them $1,700. The finance company found out about it and rejected my loan application. When I asked for my deposit back, Mario became rude and irrational, bragging about how he owns a bank and isn't worried about one little finance company. He told me that HE MAKES the decisions around there and that he's not afraid of the finance company.

To make matters worst, the vehicle that I purchased was a LEMON!! These people had the nerve to have me sign a CarFax print out and told me that they did an 180 point inspection. ALL LIES!!! That car had more problems than it was worth.

The Finance manager was rude, the car salesman LIED to my face, and Mario acted like he was bi-polar.

STAY AWAY from these people! You were warned."

Chicago Auto Place 768 Thomas Dr, Bensenville, IL dishonest

After several conversations with a salesman at Chicago Auto Place 768 Thomas dr. Bensonville we drove 5 hour round trip to purchase a 2004 Volvo s 40.

It was a very clean car, there were many pictures. After we got there they confessed the car had a blown engine. Then they wanted us to look at their inventory to see if they had another car we might be interested in. REALLY?

not a chance. It was also a CARFAX car reported to be in good condition. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They are dishonest.

After arriving home I looked again.

Car is still there with no acknowledgement of a blown engine. When you call them they act as if there is nothing wrong with the car.
