Cheshire Medical Center Dartmouth Hitchcock Keene Reviews
Inadequate Treatment Resulting in Unnecessary Pain & Suffering
- - Requested a $700 credit on a $33,000 bill; most was paid by insurance.
- - Poor discharge communication and wrong provider; two-week wait for surgery.
After my accident and poor treatment at Cheshire Medical, I asked for a $700 credit off my $33,000 bill (most was paid by insurance). They didn't provide accurate communication and instructions for follow up after I left the hospital, they scheduled my appointment with wrong care provider, they made me wait another two weeks just to see a surgeon to schedule surgery.
Now I get a letter saying that they "have determined that my care was appropriate". Why does healthcare get away with delivering *** service and not be help accountable? When I had *** service on an airline, I got a 100% credit.
Just because they are the only game in town doesn't give them the right to treat people this way. Not sure what else I can do but let people know that Cheshire Medical cares more about the $$$ than the treatment they provide.
