Owner, Stephanie, should NOT be allowed to have contact with children.

Owner, Stephanie, is rude and a bully. The facility is unorganized, dirty, and need of an remodel.

She expects children (1st graders) to be practicing every other Saturday for 6 or more hours in one day. She is very rude to parents.

Owner, Stephanie, is scary. I wished I had a video of Stephanie yelling at me in the lobby of CCD in front of other parents and children.

Cherry Creek Dance - Dance Classes Review from San Francisco, California

Interesting way to destroy a child. Cherry Creek Dance of Denver Co is certainly not a premier Dance Academy.

It appears to be a good place to introduce young children to the arts. The office staff is loving and cheerful. CCD completely broke the spirit of my 11 year old granddaughter. I've watched her cry and not eat for 2 days....so far.

Shes danced sunce she was 2. Shes been in 19 productions of The Nutcracker, 3 of Don Q and 4 of Coppelia, plus regular recitals and community performances. She was with Pofahl/ Dance Alive National Ballet, Naples Ballet and Utah Artists School of Ballet. She wept when she was presented with her Pointe shoes, at a Ceremony, last December.

She has always done everything her studio has offered. She personally raises money and dances for Children's Hospitals. She does everything she's asked and more from dance lessons to private violin lessons. She lives for dance...totally lives for dance.

She twirls everywhere with a happy joyful heart...so proud of her years of work and training. Not so much at the moment. She's completely devastated....broken...crying...inconsolable. Her goal in life is to study, train and open her own Dance Studio to teach little children the joy and love of Dance.

She knows she has the means to make that dream a reality. I taught school for 38 years. One year I got a student in 5th grade that had NEVER attended school. I did not balk and show my superiority and say ," Put her back in First Grade!" No, I borrowed, purchased materials, gave up my planning and recruited a volunteer to tutor her.

At the end of the year, she was awarded a Presidential pen because she had achieved 6th grade level in 5th grade.

Thats what teachers do. They build children up and make heros out of them.

It's hard to tell what you are complaining about, but any dancer better get used to rejection early and often. It's a hard life.

I'm sorry you've had such a hard life. Maybe a better attitude would help. Maybe not......

Cherry Creek Dance-eh

I started my daughter in a combo class and since it was her first class and she is only 3 she had a bit of separation anxiety. Downstairs I watched, in a cramped room of parents, on a screen as my daughter was carried around by 2 different instructors for the first half hour of the class then left in the corner to hang out by herself and watch everyone for the second half.

At the end of class I thought maybe 1 of the 4 instructors for the class might fill me in or give me some tips of trying to ease her in but I received nothing and I'm actually a bit worried on the child pick up process as I sent her father in to get her and there seemed to be no one monitoring who is picking up what child. I felt like anyone could have grabbed her.

Other than the experience, the studio does need a bit of a face lift. Extremely small and outdated spaces.

Cherry Creek Dance - Classes Review from Kansas City, Missouri

Cherry Creek Dance was not a good fit for my dancers. The owners Lee and Stephanie Prosenjak did not respect my daughter and visibly only paid attention to the students who have overpaid there for much too long.

They only care about money and the studio is the messiest public place I've ever seen.

When I confronted Stephanie about my daughter's departure from the studio she was immature and rude. If you're looking for a studio, DO NOT GO TO CHERRY CREEK DANCE.

Too crowded!

This studio only cares about making money. They didn't pay attention to my kids.

Classes often start late. They pack the studio with kids and therefore each child does not get the attention they deserve. They charge too much for recitals and charge too much for tuition. It is awful.
