Left Me Homeless- Bad Company and People

Cherokee Funding ripped me off. After signing an agreement for one amount they renigged and took more money from me and left me with nothing and homeless.

Don’t use this company they are very bad and don’t care for your well being. Homeless and on the streets with my children.

No Cherokee Kimosobee

Was sent to Cherokee and was outraged at how high the rates were. Then I started looking around a bit more carefully and saw that many of these companies charge high fees add it to the amount that you pat interest on and had high compound interest.

It took a while but another lawyer ogwanali suggested Redwood Funding. worked fine and cheap too. There were no fees and no compound interest. no funny business just easy lending.

I would look at other companies then this one. RFG gave me a guaranteed rate schedule that I used to compare to this co and it was much cheaper.

Do not take a loan from them

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I read prior comments. My attorney recommended them and after reviewing their contract terms I was floored.

I did my own research and learned so much about this company, but more importantly how much more expensive they are then others. They have hidden fees everywhere, compounding fees, charge $75 just to pick up the check at their office not including origination fees. Really guys, I can pay to have FedEx overnight for $25 and you charge $75 to pick up a check. When you call ask questions and see if they answer them and are truthful.

Ask about all fees and don't let them sidestep your questions. Do your homework and don't sign a compounding interest contract.

Do Not Use Cherokee Funding in Atlanta

I used Cherokee Funding for my Pre Settlement loan. Read their contracts before you consider using them.

They are literally gangsters and I am not writing this because I was denied but rather used them due to a recommendation from my lawyer Mike Hostilo. Clearly they are doing business together and profiting. I learned Cherokee paid for my attorneys holiday party. Hello?

I received a loan for $5000 and owed at settlement of 2 years $25,000. WTF? There were hidden fees and I had no clue interest compounded. I would love my money to compound but not a loan I take.

Their interest was 300% in 2 years.

These guys need to go to jail and stay away from them. They have horrible reviews all over the internet

Cherokee Funding pays for more than just Hostillo's office parties every year. Hostillo also receives nice kickbacks for using Cherokee exclusively, not to mention, all of the golfing trips and office lunches paid by Cherokee throughout the year.

Here is a little secret that I bet most people don't know......

Hostillo's plaintiffs don't even see or sign the contract when they receive money because Mike Hostillo requires all plaintiffs to sign over a power of attorney. So when you tell Hostillo that you need some advance money until your case settles, his staff signs your contract with Cherokee on your behalf and you never see the contract.

Whole thing sounds illegal and "gangster", as you put it, BUT I guess that is why there's a class action lawsuit against Cherokee Funding, Hostillo's Law Office, as well as Mike Hostillo and Reid Zeising individually.
