If you dont mind hiring a company who has no problem with FRAUD and FALSE ADVERTISING, feel free to contract with them.

Also, CORPORATE CHEM-DRY WILL NOT ASSIST WITH MESSES Chem-Dry Franchisees make, NOR WILL THEY STAND-BY THEIR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE which is documented on their Website. Here is what took place.I scheduled with Josh for the MOST EXPENSIVE Healthy Home Cleaning Package for $270 which is supposed to include Pre-Inspection/Spot testing, Pre-Vacuuming, Chem-Dry Proprietary Truck Mount Hot Carbonating Rotating Metal Feet Extraction Machine with Power-Head, Brush/Groom Carpet Pile, Stain-Guard, Deodorize; Sanitizer. Josh arrived on 6/1/20 @ 2pm and had FINISHED CLEANING my 1,600 sq. ft.

HOUSE FULL of Wall-to-Wall carpet (2 Bedrooms, Dining Room, Living Room, Loft &;;;;; Stairs) IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. I saw that he was using a silver/metal wand, used by Steam Cleaners (which they SHAME Steam Cleaners for using, when they use the same equipment), and assumed he was completing the Pre-Vacuuming step, which HE DIDNT EVEN DO. Not only DID HE NOT COMPLETE THE Pre-Vacuuming Step; HE DID NOT EVEN PERFORM the Pre-Inspection/Spot Testing OR Brush/Groom Carpet Pile AND HE DID NOT USE THE CHEM-DRY PROPRIETARY TRUCK MOUNT HOT CARBONATING ROTATING METAL FEET EXTRACTION MACHINE with POWER-HEAD, which is SHOWN IN EVERY PHOTO/VIDEO ON CHEM-DRYS WEBSITE. As he was leaving he specified that the CARPET WOULD BE DRY IN ABOUT 4 HOURS; I said the website says CARPET WOULD BE DRY IN 2 HOURS; He said that the WEBSITE WAS OUTDATED.

Feeling VERY disappointed and taken advantage of, I Emailed Josh the next day asking why he had not used the Chem-Dry Proprietary Hot Extraction Power-Head Equipment SHOWN IN EVERY PHOTO/VIDEO on his Website. Joshs response was We did use a truck mounted machine and we often do not use the "powerhead" for various reasons. Since I was not getting the answers I needed, I reached out to Chem-Dry via Facebook and Messaged them requesting the Email Address for Chem-Dry Corporate. When I got no help from Corporate, I reached out for the President/CEO of Chem-Dry, and they would not give me that Email Adddress, so I messaged him via www.Linkedin.com.

After several Emails and Messaging run-arounds, I requested that they ask Josh of Chem-Dry of Annapolis to Refund the $270. Their response was Josh is allowed to use the wand with our solutions as a method of the Chem-Dry cleaning process. I have spoken to him and unfortunately, he is not interested in refunding your money as he did clean your carpet. Josh is an individually owned and operated Chem-Dry franchisee in good standing with our corporate office and it is his prerogative to not issue you a refund.

We don't perceive he has done anything untoward in this situation. While we cannot compel this franchisee to offer a refund, we also cannot provide you with the email addresses of our senior leadership.

Furthermore, our marketing and advertising of our equipment is not a guarantee that that specific equipment is used universally. BEWARE.I posted this review in HOPES OF HELPING SOMEONE ELSE NOT GET RIPPED OFF.Wish Someone had warned me!
