When checking in, they said that we could not check in online. I called the airlines and they said you could not check in because you had an economy ticket and there were no seats left so it only way we could get seats was to pay an extra $800, we called cheap air and they could not give us a satisfactory answer as to why we had to pay the extra money. Flight delayed twice for over 7 hrs.

No contact from guru about delays. Frontier waited until 1 hour before the flight. I did check online. You can sue airlines for breach of contract. For not getting you to your destination on time. Make lots of plans you cant make it to.

Refund never received after they cancelled the flight

Canceled my flight and never refunded the money!!! I booked for a wedding and they cancelled our flights and did not return our money. Takes 1 1/2 to get anyone on the phone then gets disconnected. Very annoying and time consuming. Still not resolved. Had to spend double the amounts to get to wedding.

They stink.

I am 83 years old and when i purchased my ticket for May 14, in April, I got Premium Assist Added to my cost of ticket. Now because of a bacterial infection and a special therapy I can not travel. Problems with flight cancellation

A day before our flight, and after almost 2 hours of wait time, we finally got a representative from Travelex (we purchased insurance and

Premium Travel Assistance), and explained that my wife has shingles (chickenpox virus) and cannot travel. We were told that her flight was canceled, and that we would have to file a claim.

Fine, except for when I checked in this morning, I found that her flight was not canceled, and that only Cheapfareguru can cancel. Back to the phone calling. Finally reached Travelex, and was told that they could not cancel the flight, and that they were not affiliated with Cheapfareguru. (Funny how they use the same irritating Muzak!), but could transfer us to the right department.

Hmmm. Someone lied. We have been told that the flight was canceled, but I no longer trust what they say.

And this whole process of only being able to talk using phone service seems to me simply a way of not having a written record of the conversation, giving them the upper hand, and the ability to lie without proof that they did. NEVER AGAIN will I book with this agency.

I was looking for prices, hoping to go on a family vacation. I didn't have enough money to go with family. Instead, I get charged the $60.00. I contact them and a Chat Eros, (chat@***.com), sends back an email saying I will not be refunded. He said put the money in another way and I explained I can't, family issues not enough money. It DID NOT MATTER TO HIM! I did not see anywhere that a fee will be charged, and this is a horrible site to use. They just want to take money no matter what.

Fraudulent company

Wont let you see the airline before buy ticket. Claim ticket 100% refundable if not satisfied with the airline but if you cancel they charge a hidden $65.00 fee. That's not 100% refundable so this company is a fraud! Please check reviews before using this service.

Me either. It's a total scam I am out $2500 and a Christmas trip to visit my son who is stationed in Italy.

And I bought trip ins.

I am getting in touch with the Federal Trade Commission. I already lodged a complaint with the BBB

In June we booked a flight through Cheap Fare Guru which we had to cancel due to Covid. We were told we could use our credit for another flight minus $50 each ticket cancellation fee.

Today I called to rebook the flight. I was on hold for over a half hour. When someone did answer, the connection was bad, but we carried on. Fares to our destination as shown on the Cheap Fare Guru website were much less than the original fare that we paid.

I thought we'd still have some credit. The agent found a good replacement flight time. Come to find out, there was an additional $178 per ticket fee. The reason, she said, was that we had to use the same airline (Southwest) the other ticket was booked on.

I figured the price had gone up, even though the fares shown on Cheap Fare Guru were about $200 less than our original fares (that fare didn't say what airline). And since I had been holding for so long, I felt pressure to get this taken care of so I wouldn't have to call again and start over. I booked the flight, which, in the end, cost us about $700 each to go to Minneapolis from Albuquerque.

After confirming, I went on the Southwest website to find out that the same flight we are now booked on through Cheap Fare Guru is $300 less than our original ticket. So, with the extra fees charged today we are paying $478 per ticket more.
