They had been reliable online store for me but my May 2019 order never showed up. I went back to the order CONFIRMATION email they sent and clicked on its order status button and found the order had been cancelled just seconds after they sent the confirmation.
I asked about it from their website customer service page without getting a reply, then sent a separate email explaining what had occurred.
Still no reply from them.
In my email I shared an explanation from a call I made a couple years back to CITI technical support for an online purchase that failed. The CITI tech guy had me resubmit that order while he watched what the bank computer did. Turned out that website was charging a fake one dollar dummy purchase just to test for a valid credit card, then the website would credit the one dollar fake fee and proceed with the customer order.
The CITI guy said this is bad practises because the CITI virtual account number (VAN) credit card I get from CITI for fraud avoidance during online purchases can only be used ONCE. That's how the CITI VAN card protects from fraudulent re-use of my credit card number during any online purchase.
So, this explanation from the CITI guy might have been what has happened to cheaperhondaparts.com but I cannot know for sure because parts@***.com has not responded to my email.
My complaint is simply that this business once worked fine with CITI VAN cards but then stopped working.
