Aggravating experience

I see I'm not too he only one that didn't get my gift card honored.I don't normally shop there so I was totally unaware.But these cards were purchased n should be honored regardless.Otherwise it's called stealing which is unacceptable by anyone including and especially the business itself. ( Notice of non acceptance after any date is unacceptable as well) Perhaps Better Business bureau can resolve this issue.

Unacceptable treatment

While shopping at your store in Ft Collins CO i was met with the worst customer service. There were 3 employees sitting behind the counter scrolling through their phones and gossiping about their personal lives. The store was full of customers and completely wrecked, unable to tell which sale items belonged to which sign haphazardly hung near them. I asked for a price check and was greeted with a sigh. I mentioned the signs were confusing and was told that everything is 25% off its not that difficult. I said no thank you to the item and as i turned around the employee literally said i was waste of her time. By far the worst customer service and although your company is closing it should be known that the employees are taking advantage of the closing and being paid for work and service not provided. I should also state i am not the only one that was frustrated as other customers were muttering there displeasure with the service as well. It even appeared there was one or two people in the back, unsure if they were working or taking advantage of your company as well. Your company has been amazing in the past and its shameful that these employees are leaving a bitter memory of your company once was. With service like these individuals its no wonder you're closing your doors.

Gift card

I has a giftcard purchased for me for my bday and i am told it became invalid 2 days ago on Aug 14. How can a giftcard purchased with someone's hard earned money become invalid...bankruptcy or whatever that just isnt right what so ever. So your debts will be forgiven but technically you havent given out your part to your loyal customers. With all do respect this may possibly play a part in the reason your company is in the position it is in in the first place. I truly hope you reconsider these things. Especially in your endeavors in the future what you give is what you get. Appreciate your time and consideration Jen Spieles

This was my first time in a Charming Charlie’s and I went in because my little daughter said the stuff looked cute. The sales lady was a little off when she greeted us, but I wrote it off as everyone’s customer service is different. She hovered around us (fixing things that were already in perfect order) and kept pretty close. At one point I lost sight of her so I figured it was all in my head. When we were checking out she was hovering near the cash register and as soon as we were done started walking in the same direction as us an about 8 feet away. It’s hilarious because we were headed straight for the door and she was keeping pace as if she needed something by the door. I saw the cutest scarf and stopped and my GOD it was as if someone had a leash on her and yanked her back a couple feet. She was of course fiddling with some items on a table (as if anything needed fixing as the store was practically empty and in perfect order). When I moved, she moved. Enough said. I left and I’m not going back. It’s really sad because I’m splurging in a couple weeks and was planning to go crazy in there with my daughter, but now they just lost a customer. They need to figure it out before they go out of business as I know they’ve had to file for bankruptcy and close stores from my research on this matter. As a black woman that decided to wear my hair big and curly today I definitely feel profiled. The funny thing is I haven’t had something like this happen to me in a very long time and I take pride in spending my money (price doesn’t matter when it comes to happiness ). I’m also the last person to ever steal and I that store is super cheap so are $10 earrings important enough to stalk customers THAT HARD?? Needless to say I’m writing corporate, spreading my story, and never spending a cent in that store again!

COMPLAINT DIDN'T PRINT CORRECTLY FROM PEEL PURSES.....

as a retired woman, purchased many bags from newnan ga store over the years since store opened and even unused bags at this point, are peeling that still have stuffing in them to hold shape. wrote a complaint here and put in $4,000 for amount spent yet it printed out as $4.00, which is incorrect.

My first time at my Bakersfield charming charlie probably my last. Never got acknowledged,customers were just dragging around the store nobody was buying anything,staff didnt care because they weren't interested in selling anything.

The atmosphere was dull,music was bad so disappointed because i really love Charming Charlies. My first going was to the Rancho Cucamonga store and it was fabulous,last year I

went to the Las Vegas store and we totally fell in love with the Manager he was great. Both stores had special discounts and deals it was very exciting. The staff that was on today or possibly all the staff needs to be fired.

The Bakersfield store is probably the lowest performing store in the whole chain. I was so disgusted i called my sister from the parking lot to complain how lackluster that visit really was.

The only way i visit Charming Charlies again is in another town. Dead

Stop using Fed Ex

My complaint is more about the shipping rather than the product. They used Fed Ex. The went to 3 different towns in Ohio then it finally made its way to Connecticut where it sat for 5 days. Please, Please Please stop using Fed Ex... they are horrible

I’m normally do not have any issue shopping at Charming Charlie’s, I love the store and the products that are sold here I have multiple bags and sunglasses and fragrances from this store I am also a Charm club member. My first experience at the Spartanburg S.C. was wonderful there was one cashier specifically whom was extremely nice and helpful. Today my daughter and I visited the Spartanburg location for the second time and I couldn’t help but notice an employee following my daughter and I around the store this made me very uncomfortable and uneasy because there was other patrons in the store as well that she paid no mind to. What made it uncomfortable and noticeable is that I am Afriacan American and my daughter is of mixed race this is an issue that I suggest be looked into because situations like this could stop other African Americans like myself from shopping at this particular location

There was a sale online - Buy One Get One Free for purses. I found two that I wanted. I paid for the most expensive purse and got 2 for the price of 1. Yessss! Good deal!!! Wrong. I received the purse I had paid for. I waited a little over a week for the other purse to appear. It did not. I sent an email to Charming Charlies wondering where my other purse was. He wrote back informing me that they were out of stock. I never received ANY type of communication about the purse not being out of stock. It never reflected it in my order. I wrote back and asked what I should do as this was a BOGO free campaign. In numerous emails back to me he informed me that since I already paid for the purse, and I received the purse, there was nothing more they could do for me. WHAT?????? What about honoring the sale?? Am I crazy for thinking that Charming Charlie owes me a purse?

Charming Charlie's are a bunch of crooks, this is how they run their business. I, too, have experienced this similar issue only to be bounced around from emails, phones calls etc and promised this would be taken care of only to have NOTHING resolved 3 months later. They will NOT hear the end from me.

Ordered product in November to have it by Christmas and after finally reaching someone was told with time running out that items were out of stock but yet no one from the company customer service could send a email or pick up a phone and tell us so we could get something else in time for Christmas but NO response until we called and asked where our items were. Never will we or our families do business with a company who’s customer notification is so poor

This happened to me as well, I order 3 purses under the bogo free. Only got 2 at full price and the only way I found out the item was not available was by calling.

They gave me partial refund.

I didn’t not go on the website under the pretense of bogo half off so they should have honored the deal and refunded me the price of the less price of one of the purses I received. I will never order from them again.

Same thing happened with my order. One item was out of stock and I was closely following the order status.

All of a sudden one item is gone so I called them and all they said was “yeh it’s out of stock. Is there anything else you need?” I let it go because they refunded it. Then I get the rest of my shipment and 2 more things are missing.

I called them back and they said it must’ve gotten lost during shipping and that I’ll be partially refunded. UGHHH.

Yup that’s about it in a nutshell. How anyone can operate a business like that and not fail within a few years is beyond me. I pulled any stock investment away from that company or affiliates
