I had two warranties. One bumper to bumper and an extended.
GM refuses to pay for factory broken light that just broke inside of my passenger light but said they would give me a "offer in goodwill" of $100.
Then why did I pay additional monies for warranties (one which they are saying expired a month ago) which I received no call informing of and the other where the light isn't covered. The argument is between GM and Chapman, neither wanting to pay for a company malfunction.
I purchased a used 2014 in 2015. I was promised a lot of perks.
I signed up for extended warranty, bumper to bumper maintenance, the works. I was told I would get free yearly inspections, etc. Well a piece of the light broke off ( a covering) and of course my warranty just expired a month ago, my extended doesnt cover the light.
Mind you this is a factory issue not done by me. Ive had it with this dealership.

We saw a car we really liked at Chapman Chevrolet so we drove over there to check it out Thursday 3/9/17. Our salesman, Timothy Valenzuela, was actually really great to work with at first BUT lead us to believe that we could talk to the manager about taking the “Chapman Package” out of the deal which is just tinted windows, dent guards for the doors, and nitrogen for the tires – for $1240!!!!
Tim informed us that banks would not finance a vehicle costing less $5000 – we later found out this is a lie – and insists that we will probably have to keep the package. We went on with the deal although financing wasn’t quite worked out yet, believing we would make some changes later after we figure out what kind of financing we get. The next day, we got to thinking that we could just get a personal loan with our bank for what we didn’t put down rather than getting financed for the car and then we could take that Chapman Package off. On Saturday we talked to Bob, a Sales Manager, who WAS NOT HELPFUL, rude even.
He essentially told us that they had taken $1000 off the price because we found the car online but if we pushed to change anything in the deal or pay it all cash rather than being financed by them, they would add it back to the price. We told him we would like to take the car back, he told us we could not because we signed paperwork even though the deal wasn’t finalized – like I said, we thought we would make changes based on what information we get back from the banks. We talked to Ben, another Sales Manager, and he told us he would call us back in half an hour after he looked at our paperwork. He never did.
By the way, part of the claims about why the Chapman Package was such a good deal was that tinted windows are a MUST for Arizona, a safety concern – too bad the A/C wasn’t even charged. Basically, we went in there telling them how much we wanted to spend, they somehow doubled the price and have threatened to add more.
We were misled the entire process and are now stuck in a contract that they can apparently add to but we cannot alter. This place is out to get your money and does not care about their customers.

leased 2 cars from chapman told there salesman one car had no payments, the other had two left, he told me they would take care of everything. Great, or not so great two later I got a phone call from ford credit telling me the payments were not taken care of by chapman, I again talk to the salesmen where he ASSURED me that it was done.
Doing a refinance on my home, the bank called and said that 2 payments are showing not paid and one is past due 30 days, I just paid 500 dollars for an appraisal that I can not go ahead with the refi till I have to pay, for what should have been paid, and now wait months for my credit score to bounce back.
Mr. Bohar was not happy that I posted negative remarks on chapman's web site, Tom isn't the guy that paid for the appraisal, and isn't the guy that got taken advantage of

WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE AT CHAPMAN CHEVROLET IN TEMPE ARIZONA
eryone car shopping ever stay clear of Chapman Chevrolet. Went to purchase a car on April 6, 2015 the vehicle was brand new I drove it to eat lunch with my daughter. After lunch the car wouldn't start then the second time it started and the check engine light came on. Keep in mind dealership is in Tempe and I am in Surprise and this happened in Phoenix. I drove back to the lot and the guys who fix the vehicles were gone so they put me in a different (new car on the lot) and put a dealer plate on it. They told me to come back Monday. I drove back Monday after work from Central Phoenix only to arrive to be told they are still working out the details on the financing so I had to leave with the same loaner car and drive it in the meantime and was told come back again Tuesday. I came back Tuesday and was told they thought it was best I stayed in this car until the financing was completed. I explained it was a tad inconvenient and they agreed to fill up the tank with gas for me. I've called them several times I have phone records to document with no follow up or return calls for weeks. Two weeks ago I was called and told they can't get it approved in the new car and asked me to bring the car back I agreed but said it would be that weekend and then asked them to have my 2500.00 down payment check ready, then the sales manager George asked okay can you bring it today then, I said no this weekend he agreed. I called back minutes later and said I would consider a deal if they can do it on a used version of the same car he said okay I'll work on it and call you back. Heard nothing, two days ago I got a call from the dealership they didn't leave a message I called back asked to speak to the sales manager he wasn't available. Sales man Ike called saying what happened I explained he said would talk to George. No call. Today I get a call saying they have inventory and need the car back I said Well I'm at work and have plans this weekend can I bring the car back this weekend. The sales man Ike said I don't know I'll ask George and call you back. All of a sudden I get a text message cussing at me and saying they're going to report the car stolen if it's not returned by 5 pm. I don't even get off work until 5 p.m. and I am a single Mother. I've never refused to return the car and I can show proof of all of this. Please stay away from this so called "family owned business" this is the worst experience ever. Below are the text messages the one the salesman inadvertently sent to me lying and my reply. Please share and forward to everyone you know people should NOT be treated this way ever!

I told her it's inventory and the bank wants to see the vehicle. She started ***. She got company this weekend and no not givingbup the car this weekend. Bullsit I am pissed off at her.
Everyone is in trouble because of this one car.
She does not understand it its the banks CSR and they want to see it. I don't know how else to explain it to her. Ok. You are pidsed of atme and I am at her for not understanding that I am in or refusing to understand.

Chapman Chevrolet - 2014 Cruze Review from El Monte, California
I bought a 2014 cruze and have scratches and paint is cracking I spoke to Carlos Lopez and he promise to take care of the problem it is brand new vehicle well we bring the car back and the only thing they want to do is buff out but not take care of the paint cracking they say a rock hit the inside of the bumper next to the tired and i do not understand that because it have the plastic the cover that area behind the tired. George the sale manager also have a bad attitude and no one is taking care of the problem and here I am with a brand new car and paint cracking.
Chapman Chevrolet Tempe AZ Damaged Auto
I purchased a 200* 350Z from Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe AZ on 11/5/2010. I first viewed the car on 11/3 on my own, and again on 11/4 with a friend. On both these dates we noted several flaws with the vehicles including door dings, rims that were dinged up pretty bad, wrong size tires in the rear, broken A/C vent passenger side, nicks in the paint on the hood and roof, etc. We never noticed any roof damage and as well as we looked this car over we would have noticed yet. Nobody would have purchased this car with this roof damage.
Either the roof damage was somehow disguised, or the damage occurred between Thursday 11/4 – Fri 11/5 when I purchased the car. On Friday I never looked over the car as I did that on Thursday – (My bad). Ryan at Advanced Dent repair says it appears that a gate arm came down on the roof. Are there any gate arms at Chapman Chevrolet ?
I contacted Ray Russo as he was my salesman. He stated to me that it would be taken care of and put me in contact with Marty in your accessories/part dept. In turn Marty sent me to Advanced Dent Removal in Scottsdale. On Thursday 11/11 Advanced Dent removal viewed the car, and sent the estimate back to Marty. Marty in-turn sent it to the sales manager for a signature, and as of Monday 11/15 it has not been signed according to Marty.
I spoke with Ray Russo on 11/15, and he stated to me he was told to stay out of the matter and gave me Chase Gibb the sales managers name. I also asked him what was the hold up after he told me it would be taken care he stated there is no money in the deal to fix the car. It funny how they can call me several times a day when they want you to buy the car, but when there is a problem they can't me found…
I have left several messages for Chase Gibbs which have gone unanswered, , have asked for his email address which they refuse to give me.
I don't want them to take the car back, I just want the dents removed via painless dent repair as Ray said they would.
