1964 to 1990 Oldsmobile Distributor

This business had this part listed on EBay. I purchased it for my 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and later found out even though it did fit, the problem was the electronics.

My car has a computer and it would not work. The business then asked me if I could modify it. After awhile I decided not to try to do that and damage it. So I requested to be able to return it.

They said yes, I can. I sent it back and obtained the proof of delivery. After that, the business refused to communicate any more.

So now I do not have the distributor that I could try to resell and the payment I originally made. This business should be reported to the State where they are located and the Feds.

`94 Mazda 626 Distributor

Approx 2 years ago I purchased a distributor thru ebay advertised/sold by Chandlaemotorsports.com with a lifetime warranty. The part is bad and I'm unable to contact them by the method they say must be used.

Tried to use ebay message board as instructed on Chandler's website, but it doesn't go back 2 years.

Their phone number isn't in service any longer. I don't see where they sell this item any longer, so I guess I'm out the warrantable part or a refund.

I bought an Optispark distributor from them that only lasted 5 months. When I sent them a message I was told I had a lifetime on it and would be sent a new one in one to two weeks, that was four months ago and now they won't answer any of my messages and their phone has been disconnected. Even Ebay doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.

Short warranty

Most places give you a 1 year warranty with a part. had the part 90 days and it failed , called them and they said it was a 60 day warranty!

how nice they just make stuff up so they don't have to replace a bad part. and the part was bad out of the box because I didn't install it until 90 days after I bought it.

I would not suggest anyone to do business with these folks. they do not care about customer service or repeat business.

Part that has gone BAD!!!!

Back in Aug 21 2014 I purchased a Dist.For my 1990 Toyota Camry 2.0 . I called them (Chandler MotorSports inc.)cause there were two items that were alike but diff.prices.They informed me the one of lesser price had an i beleive 90 day warr.and the other that was more in price had a much better warr.So i bought the what i thought was the better one.Several weeks ago my car stalled on the freeway .

By the time i got back the car had been inpond!!! After i got the car back (inpond fee was around $600.00) i had a friend check the car out .He informed me that the Dist. was bad and needed a new one.I text Chandler Motorsports inc. to see what they would do?

I got no response,so i called the to find that their Phone was not working!!! So i called ebay,they said that they would have them investigated from their end!!!

Deceptive promise of a refund

ordered a part from Chandler Motorsports on Ebay in March. Returned the item unopened and requested a refund.

After several attempts to contact and no response I palced a bad review on ebay. They then contacted me and agreed to pay me in full if I take the negative review off ebay. I did and now the want send me the money or reply. These people use deceptive methods in keeping your money.

I have contacted ebay, but to no avail, these people have not returned my money.

If you need a part for your car, please use another company. My next step is the courtroom.

i had the same problem. i sent back my bad distributor and they promised to give me a refund but i never got it.

if you dont believe us try to call them sometime. they NEVER answer the phone. NEVER return emails or phone calls. they CANT be trusted.

do yourself a favor dont buy from them. i found out the hard way.it cost me $250
