I do like both your software and support, but I think you can greatly improve the approval rate of your software, and cut down on support needed, by putting question marks throughout the software, when someone puts their pointer over the question mark, either a float, or popup tells the user, whether admin or a member, what that section does, and how to use it. Then everyone would be able to easily familiarize themselves with the software; which in turn, means happy customers.

At the very least their should be two downloadable pdf's (one for admin, one for members) with screenshots throughout explaining how to use the software. Just my opinion, but your clients don't want to have to keep turning to support every time they are trying to do something, anymore than I'm sure you guys like spending your time answering support questions. Provide one or the other that I've described above, and I guarantee your testimonials will go through the roof, and you will have all kinds of clients becoming affiliates as well.

I will just kind of write some talking points but in no order of importance. 1-my overall impression so far is I am happy for making the purchase.

it was a package deal and was the closest thing I could find to what I wanted and still be out of the box software. It allows us customer to try a date site and have all the functions in place to start. 2- The in house hosting also makes it easy and if I want I can host elsewhere. 3- I have been open only a month and have over 300 members already and they are chatting each other.

4- A critisism is the template [urban] is limited in functionality and needs alot of modifications and i was not that happy when every answer seems to be {go to freelance.com]...I feel most customers who buy this product are not webmasters or capable of the technical things a site needs so the owners of chameleon should be offering a much more extensive in house team of programmers to offer their assistiance rather than dish us off to freelancer and I have been having a very difficult time with frelancers who promise the stars and deliver very little. An example is one of the templates offers a better registration process that forces a picture to be uploaded but the urban template does not offer it. Its kind of frustrating because there are features on other templates I like but overall I don't like the template in general and urban was the best choice. The registration process in urban is way to simplistic and does not enforce a pic so many of my members create a profile without a pic which is something I dont like.

The other issue in registration is once you create a profile you are sent directly to your profile and many members forget to click the email to confirm and then they are blocked from logging in., if they are lucky and I say Hi they say their account is blocked but it blocked because they never opened the confirmation email. The registration should enforce a picture as well as force the user to fill out the "About me" part and the "I want to meet" part, then be forced to confirm their account before logging in. 5- if you go with their hosting and you need to hire a 3rd party programmer you never want him to have access except for the time he needs it and this is usually done buy giving him access in Cpanel and creating permissions or changing password and then changing it back after he is done. I was in shock when I needed to change my password for a programmer and was told I cant change my password.

Its not even believable to think in this year of 2015 that its impossible to change passwords. How can we hire a 3rd party programmer and use the in house hosting at the same time? 6- Sometimes I get a good response when I issue a ticket and its resolved but many times the answer is so short and the directions to the answer are almost reduced to a 4 word sentence that literally means nothing. This equates to poor customer service and yes, sometimes the answers are fast and accurate but many times the answer is terrible.

7 I would have given 4 stars but the lack of programming assistance and some of the atrocious answers from the help desk keep it to 3.

In closing.....would I tell a friend to buy this or tell him to not buy it? I still feel its a good deal and yes I would recommend this product to a person who wants to try a date site.

They took me to the cleaners and boy did I not see it coming. I paid them $10,000 for custom mobile app development and as soon as the wire transfer was completed they refused to talk to me.

I guess this is what you get when you deal with a Russian company. I have tried to have Wells Fargo pull the transfer back but they could not. I'm seeking legal action but because they are in Russia they are beyond the law. Just a shame.

If you have done business with ChameleonSocial or Websplosion then I say you must try to get your money back.

These guys are just scammers. Nothing more.

I'm seriously unhappy that I decided to go ahead and purchase ChameleonSocial EVEN AFTER reading all these terrible ratings.I am not one to be deterred by random disgruntled customer/black pr... thought since the "pre-sale" customer service was so good that I'd go ahead and buy it.

anyway long story short - a day into buying the product i've already come across a hurdle. installation didn't go through all the way (they blamed it on the hosting company - although i know from past experience and a quick call to my hosting company that it wasn't a problem with hosting). they are so quick and dismissive once teh sale was done. Now i'm scrambling for help in the forum - trying to figure out all this problem with my site crashing randomly.

I have NO CLUE and no help certainly... and the best part... when i ask for help through the support system - i get offered the wonderful $95/month plan to pay for support... YEAH RIGHT!!

i pay for a product i cannot even customize even though they say it can be! moment you step into the backend to customize css, everything falls apart and no documentation to help us out! This is beyond illegal to scam customers into buying a bugged-out software, with very little to no support (and limited "unique" templates) and then have them scurrying to pay more just to fix YOUR software... we are the customers, we shouldn't be fixing your errors.

So if you cannot guarantee a bug-free product - then DON'T charge us for support!!!! I SINCERELY learned my lesson (although it cost me a grand $500 USD). Never buy from a company with real bad PR... there's truth behind it (after all it cannot all be "fake comments") and by the way, before you step on this message board telling me to come forward.

except i dont' plan on releasing my personal information on the web. simply contact me (I'm unfortunately still stuck being your customer til I find a more reliable software).So reply back to me if you have a remedy for this ridiculous situation!

Yes, we got scammed by chameleonsocial.com. We lost $1400 to these scammers.

Do yourself a favor, don't use them or if you do contact your credit card company quickly!

They are Russians pretending to be Americans.

Just call them and you'll see. They are scammers, nothing more.

We are looking for other people that feel they have been SCAMMED by the company called ChameleonSocial also known as Dmitry. We are filing a Multi Plantiff Federal lawsuit against them for running what we believe to be the largest SCAM history.

We are wanting to file this this month and there will be NO charge for the Attorney. You can call me direct if you have any information. If you can, try to get a refund, but it can be already too late. This number I see on the Chameleonsocial site (310-928-****) is a Skype number.

ChameleonSocial is a one-actor show. It's ChameleonSocial that is the scam, it's Dmitry that is the Scam too. Ask any of his former business associates about him and they will all give you the same answer. This guy is just a bad person.

Try to stay clear of him if at all possible. If you are associated with him now, try to get away from him asap.

You will be glad you did. I say this based on my own and others personal experience.I have nothing to gain from it, just trying to protect others from having to deal with him like I did.
