AI Highlights
  • - Alleges remanufactured transmission installed without disclosure and $7,000 charged.
  • - Vehicle shows shaking and leaks after service.

Car had some issues on way to Dr appt. Had car towed to this place on suggestion of another co.

Certified T charges us almost $7,000 for a transmission, only it's a remanufactured transmission which company never told me they would be installing in my car until It was time to pay. I would of never agreed to putting a used transmission in my car. Company says that you can't buy new transmissions but I have proven that is bull as you can buy new ones. Cost was never discussed with me until they had my car at a point where it would be impossible to go elsewhere, also had used some gas from a gas station that serves e-85 gas & felt that did some damage to car & had insurance co look at car but car place persuaded the insurance co into rejecting my claim.

After paying all this money I complain to company by writing the BBB & then a so called manager calls me back which was really the managers wife I believe, who gives it away that they have been recording my personal phone calls, which is a violation of my right to privacy for one & I was never told they'd be recording my phone calls. Certified company did nothing about anything & refused to give me back any of my money. Certified t took advantage of me being out of town & stuck in a bad situation & being a woman thinking I don't know about cars or anything when I really do. My car is also running a lot worse, it has major loss of power after they installed this bunk transmission.

This certified t co is on 75th Pacific in Omaha Nebraska. Any way major loss of power, major shaking & vibrating of car while driving, leaking fluids all over. Can't get car to go over about 70 maybe 75 mph now. So I look like a idiot driving down road with everyone flying past me.

Took car for an oil change & they even said & i have the proof paperwork that car is leaking tranny fluid and all kinds of stuff that it shouldn't be doing after paying $7 thousand dollars to Certified T. Transmission cost them or they charged $1490 for the tranny so why then did I get charged $7,000. They will say we had to do extra stuff well isn't that part of installing a transmission.

Anyway yes I am a pissed consumer as I wake up every day & think how this company took all my money & ripped us off. Car is in far worse shape now too.

User's recommendation: Avoid Certified Transmission
