12x12 Bag Policy
I have back issues and use my “Jan sport bagpack” to hold my cane & meds in. Management came and told me I couldn’t bring my bag in. I asked why, they referred to the bag policy. I told them about my medical issues & he said it’s not a “medical bag”. Plus I could have a gun or weapon inside. I was appalled! He said to put my meds in my pocket. I was wearing a sweater & sweatpants with NO pockets. He asked to look inside my bag. I think he was looking for snacks, to his dismay all I had was my cane, meds and a blanket. I was out with my family and our friends. I was humiliated, people were standing in line and upset with his treatment and behavior towards me. I was very disappointed with the way the situation was handled. I had to inconvenience someone to put my bag in the car, because I would take too long walking there and back. Anywhere else I go, it’s not an issue. So sad this is “policy”.
