- - Closed in 23 days, faster than the 28-day target.
- - Sellers left trash; Linda knew and would hire removal; counter offer near closing claimed error.
Linda McCall of Century 21 Award was the selling agent on a property I purchased! The transaction was fast, the seller wanted a quick closing; 28 days, we closed in 23 days.
The sellers (from out of state) left a garage nearly full of trash and stated their agent, Linda had agreed to hire someone to remove the trash. Linda was made aware of this and made excuses stating sellers left trash because I came by with contractor and they had no time to get the trash out. I was with the contractor for less than one hour and the guys that were removing the trash were gone most of this time. Linda at no time tried to resolve this issue, so it seems that she is more interested in getting paid than making things right!
No offer to help remove the trash left by her clients. Another thing she did was send a counter offer that I signed 3 days before closing and claimed it was sent in error. How did my agent get it if it was sent in error? My opinion is she holds it together in order to get her $$, then she does not care.
This is not a true professional.
A true professional takes the high road and tries to make things right even when they are not representing you. If you're in a transaction and she is the agent on either side; BEWARE, you've been warned.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: Do not use Linda McCall
