Energy Monitor
Good morning, My name is Roger Alban and my British Gas customer number is 850000****44 and my address is 73 Plymouth Road, Penarth CF64 3DD. I had a gas smart meter installed and commissioned on 23rd August 2022 and was looking forward to being able to monitor the usage of my gas consumption on my previously installed SSE In – Home display.
The gas meter installer informed me that it would take some time for the information to appear on the monitor and there was no need for British gas to provide a separate monitor. However, this has not happened and I am unable to monitor the gas consumption. I have been informed by SEE that their monitor is unable to monitor gas consumption because my gas supplier is not a member of the OVO group! I have been in telephone contact with all parties concerned, British Gas, SSE and OVO and have not made any progress in resolving the problem.
Can someone within British Gas please help me to obtain a monitor which will provide information regarding the gas consumption.
After all it was the main reason for having smart meters installed. Regards, Roger Alban
