"Ye Ole Bait & Switch"

First, I had a trade-in (1992 Maxima), which I didn't know at the time was eligible for a $3000 credit (but they knew). Secondly, I picked a KIA Sportage that had a sticker price of $18,875. Thirdly, I gave them a $1500 down payment. When I received my copies of the contract a few weeks later, the vehicle price had been changed to $24,600! Plus they never told me about the $3k credit. Finally - although I had stipulated a maximum of 60 months for any loan, they placed me with a Spanish Bank (Banco Santander)that is charging me a usurious amount of interest and they added 12 more months!! (I foolishly failed to count the payments in the payment book). When it's all said and done, I will have paid more than $41,500 for this car! I've called KIA and filed charges with the Texas Consumer Credit Commission. But these big banks own those idiots. So BEWARE of CENTRAL KIA and any of their affiliates!!

Central Kia Lewisville are LIARS!!! FRUAD

On Sept. 1st, I went to Central Kia of Lewisville and traded in my Truck that I still owed 15, 600 on. I was buying a new 2013 Kia Soul. I informed the salesman as well as the finance manager that my truck payment for Sept was due on the 5th and that I did not have enough to pay the truck payment and the down payment on the car too. They BOTH told me not to worry about paying the truck and use that money as part of the down payment. While speaking with the salesman, I told him that my fiance and I make about 4000-**** per month combined when we were filling out the paperwork and application. They said they would pay the balance of the truck off. I signed the contract and left the dealership in the new car and left my truck and keys with them. I was NOT given a copy of the contract that we signed on the new car before we left and I still do not have one to this day three weeks later. When we left, the finance manager said I needed to bring two more months of bank statements as well as a utility bill as soon as possible. About 4-5 days later, I took the necessary documents back to the dealership and the finance manager said "I needed these documents in here so fast because we have already sold your truck." Ok great I said. He told me to be sure to answer my phone because the new finance company would be calling me to do a phone interview. That was two weeks ago... I have not gotten any calls from any finance company until yesterday and it was NOT for the new car. It was from the finance company that I financed the truck from telling me that I need to make my September payment and that they have not heard A WORD from Central Kia about the trade in. If the finance company for the truck would not have called me yesterday, I would have NEVER known that the deal was not complete. In addition, I found out yesterday too that they have not even been able to get me financed on the new car three weeks later. I called the dealership after speaking with Crescent bank (truck finance company) and they said that I could bring the car back, get the truck and my money back. During the hour it took me to get back to the dealership, they called my phone over 5 times trying to talk me into keeping the car. I told them repeatedly that I had already made arrangements to pay the truck on Monday and that I just wanted my truck and my money back. Each time, they told me to come on back and they would give me the truck. After driving 30 miles in traffic yesterday, we get to the dealership and they REFUSED to give me the truck back. I have NO paperwork stating that I have any rights to be driving this car, the truck has not been paid off and they have already sold it, and I have not been funded on this new car. Who does this car belong to? My credit is going to be damaged because of the truck payment being late and I cannot afford to pay payments on two cars. I need help. Can you please call me at 469-422-**** as soon as possible and let me know if something can be done? Isnt there a law stating that if they cannot get me funded in 10 days they have to rescind on the contract? I am not going to sign a new contract. They also lied on the financing application stating that we told them we made 3800 each per month. NOT true!! I have 4 witnesses that were with me that heard me say between 4000 and 5000 per month combined income.

Avoid This Place!!!!!!

Had the worst experience with their customer service. Sure at the time that you get there, there are like vultures preying on a dead animal. They want you to think that they are out looking for you and your best interest. I get that it's a dealership and that is how most dealerships work. But what changed my opinion about them is the many incidents that followed. My boyfriend and I had arrived there on a Saturday evening. He was looking for a newer car. The sales rep showed us a couple of cars and then once my boyfriend decided on the one car that was best for him, we went into the office to talk numbers. By the time that we had come to an understanding and agreement on the finance aspect we were prepared to sign the appropriate paperwork. By this time it was already late and all the banks were closed. The finance person stated that he will call them first thing on Monday morning and let us know if the banks have agreed and if the deal went through. He proceeded to take my boyfriends down payment money, said that the deal was pretty much closed and we should get the car on Monday, shook our hands and send us on our way. For the entire weekend we were under the impression that by Monday afternoon we would have a new car. Come Monday morning there is still no call. We decided to give them sometime since we thought he would be a little busy. We gave them until late afternoon to call us with any information, by that time we still hadn't heard from anyone. My boyfriend called them, and both the sales person and finance person said that they will have to call him back, that the bank was still looking it over, that they will give him a call before the end of the day. Sadly no call back from them. Tuesday rolls around and still hadn't heard from either the sales rep or finance guy, that had promised to let us know what had happened. Tuesday afternoon we call again, and neither are able to take our calls. We left a message for both to call us back ASAP, but still nothing. At this point we are livid, frustrated that they can't take a bit out of their "Busy" schedule, just to let us know a tad bit of information and keep us out of the dark. We continue to call every hour until we had some information. Tuesday came to an end and had yet to speak with someone. We called back Wednesday morning and it wasn't until that afternoon that someone had finally told us that deal had not gone through. At this point we were upset, not at the fact that the deal did not go through, but that they took this long to let us know. Kept avoiding us and left us in the complete dark. I have dealt with other dealerships and they are far more prompt in getting back to you about an issue. After getting the NO from them, we were told that we had to come by and pick up the down payment that we had left for the car. Due to work we told them that we won't be able to go until Saturday. The guy just said "Saturday is fine. We will be here. Just make sure to bring your receipt." Saturday we got ready to go pick up the money. As soon as we get there we speak to the finance guy that had originally taken our down payment and handed him our receipt. He had the audacity to tell us that he can't give us our money right now. That they don't keep any cash in the office and he will have to overnight us a check. We said he can write us a check right now. He stated that he needs to get a second signature from the owner. This has us so dissatisfied with their services. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The run around and avoid someone has us beyond upset. The owner of the dealership shall expect a call from us soon. Worst customer service EVER!!!!!
