Bad service horrible doctor

The doctor was not professional, she looked to be disregard me about my concerns. I was not prescribed any medication and not explained why because I have rashes all over my elbows.

She seems to be discriminate as soon as I said I was diagnosed with lupus.

She wrote in the referral paper, " she has lupus". I wouldn't recommend anyone to this centra care location

If I could give a zero I would . First I had an appointment for 6 of us for COVID tests and waited over 2 hours until we had been seen and then stuffed in a small room, all 6 of us .

The Lady walks in saying she is the doctor when in fact she was just the N.P . Then asks ok so who is the dad here? . We were like What, what does that have to do with the results of COVID tests.

Then goes on to say about her husband being in the hospital for COVID and how much they spent, blah blah. We were like, what does this have to do with us ? She left and never came back, so unprofessional. Left us there waiting for another hour and I kept bothering them about having the results and they kept saying they are almost done we are waiting for the doctor and I was like what doctor I havent seen a doctor here yet .

Then finally got results, according to the paperwork test and doctor we saw was Timothy Wayne Hendrix, Md. Which was not the case, never saw or heard from him or her . The lady who I mostly have a complain about is Rohinine Hereman.

I will never be going to centra care again . I will take myself and my kids elsewhere.

Rude Employees

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Required "random" drug test. Employees at Centra Care make me feel like a criminal entering a prison.

No please or thank-you, just "Go to waiting area," "Grab a cup," "Don't wash hands," "Wait here," etc. How about a little respect for a man old enough to be their grandfather; what happen to respect your elders?

The place is filthy, let alone the rule of not washing your hands after the deed creates a very unsanitary environment, especially for a person with a blood-born illness, where a cold can send that person to the emergency room.

If I had a choice, I would go elsewhere, but it appears they take advantage that I can't; they need to loose their contract with my employer to knock them straight. I am a guest at their facility.

Misdiagnosed, Rude and Expensive

Went to the new Centra Care facility in Deland, FL with a throat virus, which after the fact found out it was in the area and very contagious-my two neighbors also had it. The doctor told me I had heartburn and would not listen to me when I told him I had more then heartburn.

I wanted a Z-pac antibiotic he said no. When I felt worse the next day I called and begged for an antibiotic which he called into my pharmacy --it ended up a special order and the pharmacist suggested I call and ask for a more common antibiotic--I was refused--when the order came in it was $250.00 the pharmacist said this was very unusual med. to give to someone with just a simple virus and suggested I ask the doctor for something more common (like Z-pac) and less expensive. I was refused so contacted the manager at Centra Care and she told me to come in with no charge and I would be taken care of--she said she agreed it was not just heartburn.

The next doctor I saw there first off told me next time go somewhere else, that they couldn't pick their patients but we could pick our facility plus he couldn't go on Facebook and complain about patients but we could complain about doctors. He said get a GP, that walk-in clinics weren't designed for everything. I told him I had a GP but not in Florida since I traveled quite a bit I kept my doctor of 22 years that is out of State. He sold me a Z-pac right there from the office.

Well I got the bill for $825.00 for a 30 min.

visit and yes they did bill me for the second supposedly free visit. This was a horrible experience and still am trying to straighten out the bill since January.

Centra Care Patient Care Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am a nurse and will never be returning to this clinic. Tell your friends.

I got there and the woman at the desk was nice. After am extended wait the nurse called me back and put me in a room. She swabbed my nose and I waited for the dr. The dr came in wearing a mask and handed me a mask to wear as well..wasn't actually sure why.

She told me I had influenza a. I told her I was coughing to the point of throwing up and my abdomen hurt. I had my symptoms for 4 days at this point and she still prescribed tamiflu. I asked what about my cough and stuffy nose she gave me a script for naproxen.

She gave me a note for work and sent me on my way. When I got in the car I realized the note was for a different patient. I went back and they said oh..I don't know what happened... I got home and was upset duo I called back about my concerns that were undressed.

The woman that answered the phone said she'd call me back. When she did she said the dr was afraid to give me anything because I was on 3 different meds..She did call in tessalon pearls. Come on. Wrong patient information...making me wear a mask in the room when you already had one on and then being nervous to treat my symptoms because of current meds.

Find someone that can actually treat a patient for the issues they have.

Run run fast from this place. The incompetence is unacceptable
