Centennial was recommended by a friend and I will recommend to others if asked. It was a pleasant experience from the sales purchase to the installation. I did have another company give a quote but choose Centennial.

Compliment the installers

Last Monday, February 10 we had Mat and Jeremy from London install another of your wonderful windows (entire house except one done)

They were on time, task committed, professional and pleasant. They worked very carefully and were considerate.

We have noticed a huge difference with outside noise and no draft.

Work contracted was completed as promised. Excellent customer service.

Original review Dec 10, 2021

James and Sean were the workers at our home coming from Kingston to Millbrook. They were extremely polite, arrived on time, cleaned up well after completion both days.

Explained the operation of the windows and doors.

They confirmed that the locks worked properly. Our sales person was Phil Evans who we were very pleased with.

Positive experience

Mike and Eric were our installers of windows and new front door today.

They were professional and courteous throughout the entire experience.

All questions and inquiries were answered without talking down to us.

They responded promptly to our concerns. We would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Eric and Centennial Windows and Doors to others.

Rude Sales Representative

Sales person took measurements to give a quote to replace existing rear entrance. Explained details and gave us an instant quote.

Upon further discussion, the sales person made deductions to the quote including a portion of his commission. When we said that we were not signing a contract today, just getting quotes, he SLAMMED his laptop closed and angrily stated "well, I won't take up any more of your time".

The cost

Im just curious why their steel doors are so much more expensive than store bought ... I need 4 doors installed and the cost is almost 12k I find this way overpriced... im looking to cancel my order after doing some research.

We are very happy with our choice to use Centennial Windows and doors. We had all the windows in our home replace and our patio door.

The salesmen was knowledgeable and their install team was great. they had to make 2 trips to complete the install (do to an unforeseen issue with our house) but they resolved the problem on their end and continued to the install. warranty work is only a phone call away and they are prompt with replying. we even got a discount because the patio door was less expensive than quoted!

we are looking forward to working with them again in the future.

highly recommend

price is what it is for a quality product. you get what you pay for, we can honestly say we have seen a noticeable decrease in heating cost with new windows installed

Very High

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In 1996, Centennial installed three large windows - including a Bay. Last year, after what, 23 years, they came back to my house and repaired every problem accrued over a quarter century of wear.

No charge!

Lifetime guarantee holds.

Very impressive in these times. Old school promises made - promises kept!

Guys did a great job.

Mike and Eric came to 1876 Brigden Road, Wilkesport, ON, N0P 2R0, on Wed., Sept 18th, 2019, in order to replace a large picture window.

These young men were polite, professional, and worked fast. After they finished their work, they cleaned up well.

We were pleased with everything, and the replacement window looks better than we had imagined.

Thanks, Guys!

Centennial Windows And Doors - Window Review from Toronto, Ontario

I finally got a quote the other day. For 13 windows, $29,865.

Aprox. 2500 for each 6x4 window. Wow!. Read reviews of most window brands you can buy in Canada.

Centennial was not mentioned once. They toot there own horn. The guy said we are the Mercedes of Windows. Mercedes is sold other places than southwestern ontario.

They are more like the Bose of Windows. Remember Ducana?, I wonder how people are making out with there lifetime warranty windows.

We had a French door and side lights put into our house a few weeks ago. Mike and Ryan (installers) had to spend an extra 1 1/2 days extra to reconstruct the back of our house, repairing damage from another window/door company.

We can't say enough about Mike and Ryan. Their focus was on doing the job RIGHT, and all in -10 degrees.

These two young men and the manufacturing team are what makes Centennial great. We will always recommend Centennial.

Poor Quality & Over Priced

I bought 22,000CAD worth of product - we never had issues of condensation, nor did the previous owners, but now, with this Centennial Product, our windows are covered with moisture. They told me that the house had to "get used" to the new windows!!

then they said that it was because the windows were no longer allowing air to escape from the home, then they said that it was because our home had far to much moisture in it.

Oddly enough they've modified their response on more than one occasion and now they insist we have too much moisture. They lie, from start to finish.

Dear home owner, I hate Centennial Windows with a passion. That said, they are correct, You will need a dehumidifier to combat your excessive moisture in your home.

Back to Centennial Windows, I believe they give all true window companies a bad name.

George Warren (owner) should stop praying on the sick and elderly. You are a disgusting slob George.

I hired Centennial Windows in November of 1997 to replace all my windows and siding – this was a huge and expensive mistake, as I will explain. First of all, the installation started ONE WEEK LATE because they were “too busy” to start on Monday, November 24 (1997) as promised.

I had re-arranged my work schedule to accommodate them in this time frame. I should have cancelled the job on the spot, but hindsight is always 20/20. The job was completed during the week beginning Monday, December 1 (1997). Installation was sloppy and unprofessional.

Their answer to stopping leaks (air and water) was to put silicone around the window casings – a real problem when it’s time to repaint the room. Casings are decoration – leaks should be sealed BEFORE the casing is put back on. Any professional installer would know this. The window quality is substandard – not worth what we paid.

Service is terrible. As I write this review (May 11, 2015), I’m still waiting for a repair that was supposed to be done over one year ago! Don’t be fooled by their smooth-talking sales people (we had Rick Reddam).

Bottom line – don’t deal with Centennial Windows! Take my advice and shop elsewhere.

My mother-in-law, at 80 years old signed a doorstep contract for 2 new windows with Centennial. Price $5000.

(windows approx. 54 x 65). Fortunately we happened to visit Mom right after she signed the contract. As a residential contractor I don't do doorstep deals.

I checked out prices for windows . I found equivalent windows for $ 1100. (total... not each) ....cancelled the Centennial contract (less than 10 days had elapsed and the sale was made outside the Centennial Show room so by law one has 10 days to cancel).

Mom is ahead of the game by $3900.

Long and short of it ....I install windows for free .....even if these windows had been installed by the store at which I bought them the total bill would have been under $2500. Even had Mom been able to do her own research and handle the transaction herself at the store I went to she would have still been ahead $2500.

I also always search the web for complaints or concerns about suppliers....there are certainly enough negative comments on the web to make one concerned about this provider.

Too many people fall for "best warranty" lines and "best product".

The best is what accomplished your needs and does not break your budget. Window quality from many suppliers is so much improved that if you pay to much likely someone has instilled fear in you and let that be the determiner of your decision instead of common sense and doing your own homework!

I totally disagree you might have saved your mom 2500 but I hope you like doing things twice cause you'll be replacing them again in 8 years so is it really worth doing something cheap and doing it twice. I don't work at centennial there my competition but I'm the type of person that like to do this right the first time even if it cost more. So unless you like installing your own windows every 5 10 years than spend the extra money and do it once

We purchased two doors and one window, $7000. The workmanship was TERRIBLE in all aspects. They sent out an incompetent installer and he really messed up the threshold. The finish on the doors were so horrible they both had to be replaced. NOT what the salesman had told us at all (8 coats baked on finish) the finish was coming off on a rag that I had to use to wipe the thick dust off of the doors immediately after installation!!!!

The caulking on the upstairs window was horrible as was the trim....which also had to be replaced (POORLY). They also left a huge filthy mess after the initial installation.

When they replaced the doors they sent the same guy even though I asked them NOT to. I just assumed that because the foreman showed up that he would do the threshold job right this time. WRONG!!!!!

They have been here six times now repairing shoddy work and attempting to replace parts damaged by them....and it is a pain in the butt to get them out here, we are still waiting for them to replace a piece of weather stripping on a storm door they damaged during 3rd re-installation. The trim work on the inside of my home was damaged and the repair job was horrible.

Stay FAR AWAY from these hackers!!!! They have made my life miserable because i was the fool that talked my wife into going with Centennial and we have to use these doors and window everyday and everyday I hear about it.

Oh Ya!! They leak air as badly as the 100yr old doors that they replaced. What a HORRIBLE COSTLY mistake choosing Centennial Windows and doors!

Guest

I am a competitor to Centennial Windows and would like nothing better than to find a reason to show how they are not as good as they claim. This is not one of those times.

The comment that the house has to get use to the new windows was ***, but the comment that the new windows are more air tight and that the house has to much humidity now is probably right.

If you are producing the same amount of moisture as before, the new windows will retain the moisture better which can lead to condensation. You need to turn down your humidistat.

We had all our windows replaced in our 35 year old house . The windows work great and fit well, no more drafts and less outside noise.

They diid a great job installing the windows and we are 100 per cent satisfied . Yes they cost more, but I would like the job done right the first time.

Guest

:cry 22 must be a magic number with them or something... we bought new windows and doors throughout the home ..

but they gave us their special discount :upset so we should be grateful ..

that brought us down a few thousand. It's a wonder that they have all these references to being so great, but in reality far from it!!!
