Does Cell C or any of its agents understand consequences of ignoring the POPIA? I have on aa 100 times expressed my refusal of being contacted, but still do by varies agents. I would firstly like to have the latest reviewed and why Cell C would divulge my information to a 3rd party when I explicitly opted out. And the secondly, why a customer service agent will refuse to lodge a case with Cell C legal to contact me

Preferred solution: Read what I damned typed in my complaint. I will go down the legal route in Cell C legal doesn't respond. WTF IS THIS? THIS IS THE REASON YOU GUYS ARE FAILURES. AFTER FILLING OUT A FORM FOR A COMPLAINT, I NEED TO FILL OUT ANOTHER. A JOKE OF NOTE

Harrassment for cancellation fees

I can only give Cell C a zero rating.

Deeply disappointed for the 3rd time. Coming to the end of my 3rd contract with 2 year contract with Cell C, I followed due cancellation instructions at the correct time - in December 2023, in writing.

They refuse to accept it in writing.

I repeated the process telephonically and received the reference nr, and confirmation of ending contract.

Now I get threatening calls daily, several times, to pay them R155.00 "because I cancelled."

Earlier years, when the year contract ended, exactly the same thing happened!

Pathetic attitude that Cell C has towards me as a customer who has been loyal over a long period of time. But, not again.

Incorrect information provided to me as the client by the store mananger of Westgate Mall Branch, Mitchells Plain.

My husband passed away, the contracts were on his name. Even though I've submitted the Death Certificate and copy of his ID, the store manager never informed me that I could change ownership of the contract, did not inform the accounts dept.

that they should change from debit order to cash payment system and informed me that I should use the cellphone number as a reference number when I transfer the money monthly into Cell C bank account.

I was informed 8 months later after making regular payments using cell phone numbers as reference numbers, that one needs to use the account number as a reference and therefore all the payments made could not be allocated so our lines were barred. Cell C should train their staff as well as the Manager at the store.

After not receiving feedback for weeks, I've send an email to the Vangate Mall Store Manager to request feedback on the Change of Ownership of cellphone contracts. Within moments, I've received a request via sms to authorize the debit order as well as an email to notify me that the contracts have now be transferred onto my name. Greshin Bird, the Manager then followed up with a phone call to confirm that all the outstanding have now been dealt with. Thank you for the professional service and your efficiency. Well done and I will do business again with Vangate Mall, Athlone store.

It might have been since Thursday, on the 18th of January 2024, because on Wednesday, the 17th I received a call, so my number was still working then. Now how will I get my number back while they're taking me left and right. I want my number back, just call me back and verify. Have had several issues with CellC, they blocked me from receiving international calls, after visiting Mossel Bay store I was promised this is resolved ::: Nothing, I contacted them ( 12 calls ) was answered twice, first time I was told they would call me back NEVER ! ::: Second time they eventually answered I was still explaining ... they *** dropped the call ::: I went to the store & indeed they confirmed dropping my call "I was to AGRESSIVE" :::

Data speed rate

Cell c is a nonsensical network I tell you, cheaper with bundles but your data won't last long enough, it basically runs with a ridiculous speed, it doesn't last and I see why they made cheaper deals, just so we can continuously buy it and not last with witb it, it is pure nonsense!! I was told to call back later. Declined to comment on the app information different to actual account, sorry mistake on their side but account suspended. Even though account paid in full. Customer service sucks, always shocking. Staff incompetent, not trained to sort issues out.

I was called by an agent on 19 June 2023 to upgrade my existing nr - he gave a list of phones I asked he call back the next day, he did we proceeded to UPGRADE my existing line the next morning I note on the document another nr reflecting I phoned him back and he says no worries the UPGRADE will merge with my existing contract law and behold I get a bill with 3 contracts in stead of 2 I phone customer care am passed around and eventually log a dispute wait 2 weeks to get a response and am notified after calling in for the 10th time the dispute was closed there is no mention of an upgrade on the call like WHAT??? SO I log a new dispute and have to again wait for 2 weeks I suppose in the mean time paying for a mistake I did not make and did not ask for...

WORST SERVICE EVER... heard from the branch this is a repetitive problem they are doing this often...
