I can only give Cell C a zero rating.
Deeply disappointed for the 3rd time. Coming to the end of my 3rd contract with 2 year contract with Cell C, I followed due cancellation instructions at the correct time - in December 2023, in writing.
They refuse to accept it in writing.
I repeated the process telephonically and received the reference nr, and confirmation of ending contract.
Now I get threatening calls daily, several times, to pay them R155.00 "because I cancelled."
Earlier years, when the year contract ended, exactly the same thing happened!
Pathetic attitude that Cell C has towards me as a customer who has been loyal over a long period of time. But, not again.

Incorrect information provided to me as the client by the store mananger of Westgate Mall Branch, Mitchells Plain.
My husband passed away, the contracts were on his name. Even though I've submitted the Death Certificate and copy of his ID, the store manager never informed me that I could change ownership of the contract, did not inform the accounts dept.
that they should change from debit order to cash payment system and informed me that I should use the cellphone number as a reference number when I transfer the money monthly into Cell C bank account.
I was informed 8 months later after making regular payments using cell phone numbers as reference numbers, that one needs to use the account number as a reference and therefore all the payments made could not be allocated so our lines were barred. Cell C should train their staff as well as the Manager at the store.

I was called by an agent on 19 June 2023 to upgrade my existing nr - he gave a list of phones I asked he call back the next day, he did we proceeded to UPGRADE my existing line the next morning I note on the document another nr reflecting I phoned him back and he says no worries the UPGRADE will merge with my existing contract law and behold I get a bill with 3 contracts in stead of 2 I phone customer care am passed around and eventually log a dispute wait 2 weeks to get a response and am notified after calling in for the 10th time the dispute was closed there is no mention of an upgrade on the call like WHAT??? SO I log a new dispute and have to again wait for 2 weeks I suppose in the mean time paying for a mistake I did not make and did not ask for...
WORST SERVICE EVER... heard from the branch this is a repetitive problem they are doing this often...
