April 22, I purchased tickets for 3 for two different movies in a row, Evil Dead Rise @ 5:45 and Dungeons and dragons @ 7. I'm writing this now during Dungeons and Dragons.
When I purchased the Evil Dead Rise tickets online, it would not let me purchase regular seats and notified me that seats were almost sold out.
I could only choose the D-box option. The theater was not full by any means and almost no patrons sat in the front section. I would have sat there, I am not picky. I wanted to show my family a good time, so instead of forfeit, I opted to buy the D-box seats.
I purchased Dungeons and Dragons first and ran into no such message.
It was disappointing to be mislead like this and spend so much on seats that only vibrate and do not recline. The seats most certainly aren't more entertaining.
I kindly shared this with the inhouse manager and asked if I could get movie passes since the tickets were double the price. He said no because we had "enjoyed" the experience there was nothing to compensate. And he never asked me about my experience.
Well my experience was with a lot of disappointment since I realized I was mislead to believe the theater was full, almost as if to force higher pricing.
I do not feel that it was a spoiled patron request and I did not take the argument further.
But I do want to know if this was a website error, can I be compensated with 3 passes for the company's website error?
As an avid movie goer, I always purchase online and this has never happened. I was not misusing the website. I look forward to your honest response. I spent next to 150$ and I'm happy to pay for good entertainment.
But fairness should come into play in circumstances of company error.
I'm not fighting for money back. But at least a 3 passes for being mislead.

Just starting the process, waiting for response.was charged twice on 2 different credit cards. The debit card was charged even though it said it was denied, the other credit card not a debit card was approved, but the debit card and the othe credit card were both charged.how do I go about getting a refund on 4 of the tickets?
Payment not working
My card keeps getting declined by the app. My bank said it's a merchant issue. I've tried to get a ticket repeatedly and it's not working.
Preferred solution: Just wanted to pay for my ticket and see the gibli fest in Lansing tonight.
