I have been using CCCONE's platform from it's inception, I've used it since it was pathways. It hasn't always been perfect but is one of the best estimating and management systems put out.

I took the time to inform them of ways I thought it could be improved. You don't go buy a car and dive it home if you have never driven one, why would you buy a management system without getting the training

or knowledge about it first.

Users complain as they don't take the time to setup the program properly.

You only get out what you put in. Insurance profiles need setup individually and require time. Most companies will allow you to download the office profiles and then you can modifying them.

My findings most shops don't give employees enough time training to become proficient and managers are to lazy to take the time too know how to use the system. Don't blame the software for your stupidly.

Used bad, wrong comps in total loss claim

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

A State Farm customer hit my car and admitted 100% fault. Total loss claim according to State Farm.

CCC used horrible comps to offer us much less than we could use to replace vehicle, which is what policy states. Comps did not include correct pkgs and used cars with accidents on CARFAX history. They also valued my perfect condition car as average condition and deducted a large amount while neither State Farm nor CCC never sent an appraiser in person to view my car. Plus, that shouldnt matter when policy states REPLACEMENT!

We have gone around and around multiple times and they get new comps but continue to use only the cheapest, accident-laden comps that are over 500 miles away from our home.

Ridiculous! We should not need to hire an attorney or be this inconvenienced.

Typically it's the insurance company not providing all of your vehicle details and packages. CCC does not inspect your car, your insurance company does.

CCC Information Services - Customer support after sale

Training you get some on line training a day of in house training and nothing after that unless you pay. They need to provide on going training once we have used the system.

The trainers need to work there program in a live shop in real time. How can a trainer train someone if they have never used there product. Last time our trainer was in we showed him how to use the system. When writing estiamte we see a date base for used and aftermarket parts which we use.

But when you run you audit report that in insurance company see it looks at a different date base and we have to rewrite our estimate. I called them and asked them how can I look at the same date base that is on the audit report they stated that that came from the insurance company. That date base is in CCC we are on they direct repair program we should be using the same data base.

They tell me to call the insurance co. which we did and were told to call CCC it is there program.be

Frauds!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
CCC completely falsified a comp. when my insurance company used them. I paid for a CarFax report to verify their report was right & it was wrong. They falsified the make of the vehicle & added on extra features. This was a $15,000 mistake on the low end! Unacceptable. This company is full of crooks. I have since learned they have a ridiculous amount of complaints. Disgusting company!

I feel violated

Please read other comments &;;; reviewsUSAA uses a formula thru CCC One they refused to disclose the add ons &;;;;;;;;;;; deducts on my actual totaled vehicle CCC One marked EVERY check box on my automobile as good w no detduct for condition but still deducted $1,233.00 in the deduction spread sheet for bottom line settlement.for condition. When I confronted them they said because the comparable vehicles were in show room condition & just deducted the $1,233.00 from my sellement offer from thin air!

To add insult to injury I adamantly told the adjuster I only wanted hard paper copies of all signifcant correspondence because I'm a disabled veteran w no printer on my computer on Nov 4, 2021 & then on Nov 5, 2021 I get an email stating that I had agreed & entered into an computer only generated corrrespondence for the duration of my claim. When I confronted the same adjuster who remembered our conversation well because my voice was cracking blamed it on the computer & said he did NOT know how to change it! Then on approx. Nov.9, 2021 I get an email thanking me for settling my claim for the paltry amount they orginally offered although I had admantly rejected their paltry low ball offer!

The anomosities increased they deducted for a "no alarm" on my late model Cadillac although my factory installed alarm went off in my driveway 2 or 3 times a month. They instructed me to prove I had an alarm although they towed my auto to an out of my city location. I'm a proud & disabled Veteran & cannot believe they use the pretext USAA is part of the Veteran's family & you must have your DD2 discharge papers & other discharge ID like Honorable & date of discharge to buy Insurance from USAA!! Any Fed.

Agency, watchdog group or class action that anyone has received relief from, I would be grateful to be directed too.

I'm in shock!! ANG uniden10@***.com

TOTAL LOSS

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My 2016 Ford F-150 King Ranch, with 35,000 miles, was rear ended by a 19-year-old driving a 2019 Jeep. My daughter in law was driving my truck. I purchased the vehicle in 2016 new for $62,000. Traffic slowed down but the young lady in the Jeep did not. Totaled both vehicles. I have had my insurance with USAA since 1969. Have had only minor claims in all of that time.

But this time was different. I found out USAA is one of the 300+ insurance companies that use CCC to evaluate total loss vehicles. The insurance companies fund CCC. This *** relationship between the insurance companies and CCC is fraudulent in the least. By my research, the first offer from USAA undervalued by vehicle by $2000. The USAA adjuster said they could not change it unless I could provide additional justification to change the CCC evaluation. CCC's methodology "rates" your vehicle on a scale of "fair-good-very good" on six parameters. I could not get the adjuster to provide the cost difference between the ratings. USAA used pictures taken by the repair shop estimator to rate my vehicle. The pictures were poor quality. They said the "mechanical" parameter of my vehicle was only "good" because it had dust on the engine, even though it had all maintenance intervals completed on time and all recalls performed. They said it had numerous dents and dings, although it had none. They said the leather seats and carpet were faded and stained based on the pictures provided by the estimator. They said the glass was pitted and the tires were worn. I agreed with the tires since they had 35,000 miles, but the glass was not pitted.

My son went to the lot where the vehicle was stored to retrieve my personal items and to photograph and video the vehicle. Based on the photos and videos, USAA had to raise the rating of the body, and interior to very good and agreed to raise the mechanical to very good.

A second component of CCC's methodology is the use of "comps". I averaged the mileage of 12 comps they provided and it was 70,918 miles versus my vehicle at 35,000 miles. Also, I did some research on the comps. A high percentage of the comps were at used car lots and had been purchased through auctions. I did some research by VIN No and found that many were not comparable to my garage kept truck. Several had front grill guards and were jacked up. I checked the VIN at a local dealer and if was for a Mustang and not a truck. Must have been a typo. However, I found that accessories they used on my truck were under rated versus the so called comps. After I pointed this out, they raised the value again.

After a week of hard work and two strong letters, I was finally switched to a supervisor at USAA and we arrived at a value that I could accept.

My recommendation is to fight, fight fight when dealing with insurance companies and especially USAA. I used to think they were the best, but not longer. They are just like all the other companies out there.

This is a known troll.

This complaint is Specific to my encounter for the past month, Nationwide and CCC ----- KEEP in mind, NO CCC person actually goes to salvage or repair shop and does NO hand-on, eyes-on your vehicle. They totally reply to photos sent to them by the salvage yard or repair shop staff.

The rest of the value assessment is done totally via the proprietary software owned by CCC. Hence, sloppy or limited photos ---- gross below valuations.

Valuation methods for total loss claims can vary by state and policy. While most state laws require the payment of "actual cash value," as the other commenter points out, state laws and insurance regulations sometimes clarify that means the "replacement cost" of the loss vehicle.

So, I wouldn't listen to the first commenter. What state are you in?

Guest

You realize it's an actual cash value of your vehicle and not replacement cost, right?

Also, go through the report and make sure your insurance company has provided all that f the packages and equipment on your vehicle.

I'll eagerly wait for the brave souls who start a class-action lawsuit against this monopoly. At least my insurance Adjuster let it slip that "most of the big insurance companies use CCC", suggesting poor customer service. Whatever algorithm they use it is against my own research that found similar cars in my area, an independent Collision shop and autos in a 100 mile radius that were substantially higher than they determined. They serve their customer, the insurance company, and not the insured. I'll likely drop my 38 year relationship with my insurance company if they refuse to adjust the reimbursement.

Pick an insurance company that does not use CCC

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They are awful. My insurance company is going to lose my business because they are using a shoddy valuation company. The valuation is for a 7 month old car that they are claiming lost 40% of its value in the first 7 months despite still being in excellent condition. The other insurance company has assumed all liability for this claim so why USAA would allow CCC to not create a reputable valuation for their client is beyond me.

Scammers of the highest order, yes suing. What they are doing is criminal.

They went out and took comparables from every 'fly by night' low reputation corner parking lot with a trailer , "car dealer" and uses that as like vs.

like. Absolute joke.

Did the same to us--i was rear ended and my beautiful car was totaled--gave me comparables from the shady car lots and they would not negotiate! I had no cards to play so i had to take their offer. HORRIBLE
