Gutless Colbert cancellation

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

BVari Weiss and the new owners of Paramount/CBS made the decision to cancel Colbert. After Colbert ends next week I will be done with CBS/Paramounrt. I'm a lifelong viewer and will never darken CBS/Paramount doorstep again because of the "financial" decision they made to appease our narcissist in chief..

User's recommendation: Scroll past CBS and don't subscribe to Paramount.

I closed my account with this bank after all my checks cleared but they said I didn’t

AI Highlights
  • - I closed all my accounts after payments cleared and faced overdraft charges.
  • - They claimed $320 was paid, but there was no money left to take.

I closed all my accounts with this bank after all my payments from these accounts had cleared. A couple weeks later their bill pay department notified me that I did not close both sides of my checking account.

They claimed they paid out $320 on my behalf, but when they attempted to take the money from my account, there was no money there. Therefore they wanted me to authorize them to take $320 from my current bank account, before they went in and took it.

If they had already paid out the $320, why did the associate have me wait three days and then come back and finish closing my account? What OTHER SIDE of my account did I fail to close? Why did they pay out money days before they took it from my account?

That probably explains their charges against my account for insufficient funds AT LEAST twice a month.

Social Security checks only go so far and it presents a hardship when I am being charged at least $66 per month for overdraw charges that I could not justify. I even put $1,000 extra in my account and within 2 months that money was gone and I was paying insufficient funds charges again.

Loss:
$320

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Either don’t bank with this bank, or check your account EVERY DAY and ask for explanation of transactions that do not match your records
