Cavender Auto Sales

Cavender is a great place to purchase a vehicle. I broke my Jeep Liberty from here, the next day it would not crank, I was furious, I called them the next day, Kim the salesperson and Mike in the mechanic department assured me they would take care of problem, Mike had my car towed, kept in contact with me throughout the day, to assure me he will have it up and running.

It was something minor, the very next morning I picked up my vehicle free of charge.. When I say they resolved the problem, They did just that!! Kim is amazing!!

though I encountered these difficulties with this car, I will commend this company for working with me on the payment plan. Waiting for checks to come in after working a job, waiting for a week or more when the payment is due that week in the amount that it is due, can be worrisome.

However, as long as the buyer of the vehicle keeps in touch with the finance department on a weekly basis, they at this company will work with you. So, as long as communication is good, all will be well. I wrote what I did before this due to facing internal conflict and should have just kept silent.

Worried about making payments when all is well in the first place is what I did not need to speak about. My apologies are to be made for giving off a negative impression about this company.

I needed a vehicle that I could do work in. I was told by a sales person that the ONLY car that I was ALLOWED to have was a tiny chevy metro.

They said it was my budget car. The car is defective. The back door on the passenger's side won't open-unless you yank on it. That's a safety issue.

Suppose I had a child in the back seat and needed to open the door in case of an emergency? The other back door is now working the same way! This car is unsafe to have and too small to use for what I need it for. I had to obtain another car because my dodge intrepid was wrecked and also unsafe to continue driving.

I can't stand the contract and asked the owner to give me the car being I paid on the value of the fifteen year old car over and over. He said he wasn't just selling me a car--he was selling me a program ! Ok, then now that came straight from him, then I know I am being ripped off!!!!

Why should I be hoodwinked into a program!!!!!!!

I have bought several cars from them.I have had trouble with everyone from motors having to be replaced twice in the same car, transmission being replaced on another car and clutch problems on another car I bought . I've had electrical problems of one kind or another on about everyone of them.There warranty is useless because there always an excuse about the warranty work and when it be ready.Its cost me countless amount of money for rental cars while they had it at their shop.What was supposed to be ready in two to three days ended up to be one to two weeks.Always an excuse but at the time of the sale of the car they act like they wasn't nothing in world they wouldn't do for you.Lies,Lies and more Lies is the only thing they are capable of doing and that's all they are good at.Im not the only customer they do it to.I try to do lot of my repairs myself and not really able to do.

January 2014 I purchased a Chevy Venture. We were told great things when we were signing the papers like we have our own repair shop we have a warranty and will be here to assist you in any way possible.

Within 2 weeks of having the vehicle we had to take it in for repair on the engine. We waited for them to make the repair which we were told would only be a couple of hours and 5 hours later they hadn't even began. we had to rent a car. Took them 4 days to fix the car.

We got the van back had to screw in the bolts into the frame they didn't even tighten them down. The van jerks hard when you are driving and change gears, we took it back into them they test drove it said we needed a new transmission. We again had to rent a car for a week. we get the van back the transmission they put in was used you can see the yellow junk yard paint on it.

Guess what it still jerks hard when you speed up to change gears. We took it back again to tell them and were told by service that they rebuild them and they have the best guy in the state to do it. we asked is it supposed to *** like that? he said yes that is normal.

all the cars i have owed who knew. then we have coolant leak they tell us make an appointment and we will fix it. made the appointment had to rent another car so i could work, later that day i was told they misread the machine there is nothing wrong with it. last straw on August 7 i come in from the airport to come out to and see coolant leak all over my floor.

they had to tow it in, i called all day on the 8th was told they would call back they do not, around 4:45 pm they told us they would fix it tomorrow was a 9 hour job. we had to rent a car again to include cab fares to get to enterprise. this time we went into cavender on August 13 never heard a word from them. supposedly they left a voicemail which we proved to them they didn't.

they even said they sent a letter, never received. when we complained about the poor service we were told when you come in you purchase a loan not a vehicle!
