I have received several cold calls from this company
The website states that the company never makes cold calls. I have received several, none of which I have answered. After reading how they target and harass poor and vulnerable people plus their employment practices, I want nothing to do with this evil company
User's recommendation: Don’t answer the phone if you don’t know who it is
Rude Supervisor Rachel
Rachel Gibson is so rude. she is cold, acts like she has no feelings.
Maybe she is over worked. Maybe it is a combination of naturally being a rude, cold person, and over worked. If you ask her for help, she may or may not answer you, and her answer will be snotty and rude. The company gives you survey to fill out about your experience and say it is private, however it comes directly from your email, duh!
Really this is a bad rep for a charity company.
I guess they like her rudeness and hard core profile cause she been there for a while. All the nice supervisors leave or are told to leave.
Management should not be rude
The management in this company need training. They are running people away by being rude to them and talking down to them.
Would they like if someone treated them that way?
Do their superiors treat them rudely and disrespectful? That Rachel Gibson and Annronnetye Allen need new training and Sue Seto is a dummy, and the rest are not far behind.
Causeworx
I was hired by Causeworx in March of 2016 to work as a telefundraiser. I was told that I would be paid for 8 hours of training at $14.00 per hour and would be paid the same amount for hours worked online with clients on a call ready basis.
The training period was more than 20 hours which included specific client research, downloading of information including scripts and company policies and procedures and practicing with peers and real clients.
I was let go after training and one day of real time telefundraising. I was told that because I couldn't grasp or retain information quickly enough and I was not good enough to deal with clients and unable to sell their service, that they had no other resolution but to let me go.
Today I received payment of 27.00 for my training and work with Causeworx. I was told today that they only pay training if I worked for two weeks after training with the company. They paid me for 1.77 hours of online time during the period of 9 hours that I actually worked with real clients. I was able to get Causeworx two donations on my first day and this is how they reward their employees.
This company is bogus and unfair to their employees. I would like assistance to help me with legal advice with respect to how Causeworx lying to their employees and the fact that they rip us off when it comes time to paying what they actually owe us.
Sincerely,
Joanne Lavigne
