I moved to Chicago and had many things stored with them until I could make room for everything at my new place. After getting it all out I noticed that about 20-30 CDs and DVDs had been taken. My wife and I had the only keys and never let anyone else have them. Don't store anything there that you can't stand to lose.

They keep postponing the delivery date saying the driver got sick. Poor customer service....They don't pickup the phone. Frustrated with this company already....About to call the place I bought to cancel the order.

We had a move set up with Milestone between 2-4 pm; they didn't arrive until 7 pm. Called Milestone several times and spoke to Mark Jacobi who couldn't locate the movers- finally he just gave us the team leads phone number and we called them at 530 pm- the said they would be at our apartment in 40 minutes- after an hour we called they never answered; mark never returned our calls. I will like to thank GM for helping move is such short notice my move was a quite odd move but they were willing to help. The guys were very infomative and kind. They were in and out made my move less stressful then what it really was. At first I was afraid to have a hourly rate because of the horrer stories I heard about movers prolonging jobs to make more money. But these guys here they made it simple fast and carefree move. Companies who charge reasonably always do a poor job. BR Movers is probably the only exception. I’m no novice at relocation and I have been through the best and worst moving companies. I have to give it to this company for being so professional and affordable during my last move. They quoted me a very reasonable price. I have to relocate every now and then. So I know how terrible the moving companies. The only exception for me was Suburban relocation systems. I hired them last year when I was moving. They performed exceedingly well. The crew arrived on time, was made of very strong men who knew how to do their job and they were done with everything within a very short period of time. I would never, ever use this company again, even if their services were completely free of charge. The lack of integrity and competence was consistently upsetting throughout my experience. Drove an hour away to the uhaul location to pick up a trailer. Made the reservation over the phone. Was told the hitch would fit our small SUV. Gave exact specifications of SUV/hitch. Drove all that way only to find out the hitch was not as promised. Tried calling customer service. Was told we'd get a call back. Never did. Emailed customer service. All State Van Lines is the absolute worst. They sweet talked us into signing with them for our cross country move from Kentucky to Oregon. The original guy low-balled us on weight (I'm pretty sure on purpose) in order to get us to sign.
