Caswell Massey refuses to honor employee promises

In 2006, i purchase a $150 from a retail Caswell-Massey store at the local mall. It was very expensive for a razor obviously, but i liked it a lot. To close the deal, the sales manager in the store informed me that if the razor broke for any reason, Caswell Massey would replace it free of charge. That convinced me, so i purchased it. Fast forward: four years later - razor broke. Store in the local mall was recently closed down. And... i contacted the company and they refused to replace it. They say they don't offer lifetime warranties. I asked if they would honor the word of their employee, and they simply ignored the question and never answered it. Instead, they offered me a 25% discount. Ok, losing $150 on a razor is not the end of the world. But this company had an employee make me a promise, and the company not only won't honor it, they won't even acknowledge it. Which means this company is not one to deal with, in my opinion.
