Positive Experience with Scott Loper, CC HOMES
I had a very positive experience with Scott Loper at Castle Creek/Custom Homes. He honored our warranty and was more than fair with the price of our home and building agreement.
We custom built our home, so I went to the building site almost every day. Our home is well built, and most of the contractors working on the home work for other reputable builders. Of course a few mistakes were made here and there, but he always had it fixed without any issues. He's a friendly guy, so by the end of the building process, I felt like he was a brother-in-law.
In the building business, there are people who try to take advantage of builders, so I'm sure he's been burned.
If you are polite and reasonable with him, he is very, very fair. I would definitely build with him again!

Oklahomans - DON'T Buy a Home from THIS Builder
If you are buying a brand-new home in Oklahoma, stay away from Castle Creek Homes in OKC...overpriced, shoddily-built McMansions using the cheapest materials/poorest workmanship available. Problems with everything from the electrical & heating/ac systems, to tiles cracking, all within the first year of purchase.
On top of that, the builder, Scott Loper, won't honor his one-year builder's warranty AND he won't return your phone calls or respond to your e-mails.
We finally sent him a certified letter, which was returned to us, unopened. Avoid him and his company like the plague - buying a home from him is a BAD INVESTMENT of your time & money!
Preferred solution: Price reduction
