Verified ReviewerWon't honor my contract
- - The seller promised 5 years of free oil changes by contract and verbal commitment.
- - After two free changes, future ones cost half.
Bought a used 2014 Equinox from Castle North Chev. in Illinois, in 2016.
By written contract, and verbal commitment, was told that I would be getting 5 years of free oil changes. After only two oil changes (my car is stored 5 mos. a year) I was told that my last one would be my last "Free" one and the others would be ay 1/2 price. I said I had a contract and the service rep held up a contract already "yellowed" out, saying, "subject to change".
Of course, when I signed the contract, it was not yellowed out. This may be legal, but so morally wrong. My question is, "is this decision a corporate one or one from Castle?". If it is from Castle, I will not be purchasing any other vehicle from them or give them any service business.
Very poor marketing decision to lose car sales over oil changes. Mary....mjsrep99@***.com
