Frustrated

After being put through the wringer for hours on end, multiple customer service agents and dispatch agents being rude, the Tech arriving 2 hours AFTER the appointment time frame, and a quote more than $1,000 more than other companies, I sent Casteelair out the door.

I don't buy their reasoning for the exorbitant amount as being better quality parts. After what I was put through, it was downright ridiculous.

I am appalled they were not more efficient with their time AND MINE and it's atrocious that they couldn't give me an estimate over the phone or online.

Because I was so dissatisfied I got the service fee waived.

Yes, Casteel gouges on the payments. I paid $176.00 dollars on my account.

They took $120 and put it towards interest.

We were not told about this when we got the product. We are seeking legal matters.

Additionally, they said anyone who would repair the system is disreputable. So all of you HVAC companies out there who repair an older system, let it be known that Casteel says you are DISREPUTABLE.

They refuse to make the repair to my system. They insist that I purchase a new AC system.

Short story: They agreed and provided quote to repair my AC unit along with 2-year warranty, ordered part, scheduled repair, then reversed their decision and told me I needed to buy a new system because the Service Manager said he knew what was best for me. Yeah, taking my money.
