Couldn't get in to my account and couldn't reach anyone in customer support

I couldn't get into my account and wasn't able to reach anyone at Cast It Talent to help me. They made me pay for membership to another service to get help and that was not acceptable. They need to help their own customers and not pawn us off on another service site.

So hard to use!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Please make this easier for actors! It isn't user friendly to update, upload, sides won't open even with adobe reader and multiple browsers etc.

If it doesn't improve I hope casting considers just using actor's access.

We spend more time trying to figure out this glitchy system than we do filming. It's really really frustrating.

BREAKDOWN OF ROLES@

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

No breakdowns of the roles. How does an actor know what role they are submitting for?

How the heck this site work? What is the success rate for actors on this site?

Terrible customer service

They won't answer the phone. They're probably hiding because they know how bad their service is. How are they still in business?!

I feel scammed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I am very upset. I thought this was a legitimate casting website when I saw Ryan Gosling in the ads.

I assumed he must be an owner or something. Anyway, their costs are pretty high to say they're new. It's $20/month, which is pretty high. I paid anyway because people were spreading news that certain networks would be casting from Cast it Talent this past pilot season.

So like any good actor, I listened and got the membership. Biggest waste of money. THERE ARE NEVER ANY SIDES. I have not come across one job that had sides available, completely defeating the purpose of using the site!

The ability to get sides and submit auditions using those sides was the SELLING point for Cast It Talent. That's what they push in their ads, and that's also why I bought in. If there are never sides available, then it's a scam.

I'n very disappointed and quite frustrated. False advertising, highly priced for lack of clients who post sides, and overall a poor resource for an actor.

I have a basic membership and I don't pay anything. My agents submit me for roles here as well as other casting sites and it came with sides.

Just yesterday I video submitted for a role through here but my agent got me the sides through showfax. All these sites are kind of linked because I was submitted for the audition through actors access but I had to upload the video submission through cast it.

Oh and headshots of actors doesnt mean they own the sites but I am certain when they started they also had to be submitted through these sites. Maybe your representation should've told you which sites to actually pay for.

DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY WORK THERE?

I have attempted MULTIPLE times to contact Cast It Talent vie their online contact form, their Facebook page and through the FORGOT PASSWORD link...for well over a week. I missed an important audition upload because no one has ever gotten back with me.

I attempted to use the FORGOT PASSWORD link a dozen or more times. Each time I clicked on it...it created a pop up that let me know I would get a password reminder/reset via email. I NEVER GOT IT...and YES...I checked my SPAM. There is apparently no telephone number I could find.

I have tried and tried and tried to contact them...even tried to upgrade to their very expensive monthly fee...just so I could upload the audition I desperately needed to upload.

You can do anything at all without a password...and you can't get anyone to contact you to fix your password. VERY SUCKY!!!

Well you should have written your password down... so who's to blame? Certainly not a website.

Scam site, *beware*

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On the face of it. you get the picture that this site is like Actors Access, however, despite the gazilions of casting notices, you never hear anything back and despite saying sides, there is never any sides to self tape.

Its really difficult in the 5 months that I have been a member to really think that this is anything other than a Scam site.

There is no customer feedback link, and no way to get in contact with anyone who administers the site, think to yourself, WHY IS THAT. To the people at Cast It Talent, you can fool the people some of the time but not all the time.

It probably is a scam site. You want to be an actor so bad and they knew it. Your fault for being an idiot.

Feedback Feature

I don't know who is giving this feedback but it's amazing that you can get feedback on a Sunday st 11pm from a "trusted professional" from MGM, the CW, etc. The feedback is usually sarcastic, unhelpful and seriously wuick turnaround.

Did these people work in Janitorial or in the canteen and picked up extra work on the side? Technically they would be employed there but are they qualified?? I now get feedback from my extremely knowledgeable manager.

Don't waste my money there anymore. *** business

I have also had an issue with their feedback being all over the place. I sent out the same reel and got back 3 different sets of feedback from the same Film Company. Most of the time I sent stuff it was either, really nice or really aggressive and not helpful or constructive.

Fake Casting Company that charges $90.00

Cast It Talent - Fake Casting Company that charges $90.00

The company charges you $90.00 a year and promises you if you get the premium membership you will have a better chance of being cast in a Hollywood movie which is a lie. The company will give you false promises that you will be cast into a movie but really they want to scam you so they can make the money.

The bottom line stay away from companies that want to charge you money that promise you movie parts in Hollywood Television Shows. The best way to figure out if the company is legit you should look at the bbb.org.

I for one dont pay anything for cast it. They cant possibly promise you fame.

I think the issue here is the thought that these casting sites will make you famous. That's a lie. You pay to get listings for actual auditions that you can submit yourself without having representation. You aren't paying 90$ to become famous.

Just yesterday I video submitted for an episodic my AGENT submitted me for. I did not have to pay a membership to upload my video through cast it talent. I think the problem is that people believe that it's that easy to become "famous". Its so much more than these acting sites.

How are your headshots? Is your video reel current? Have you taken acting lessons, attended workshops, actually have a resume with work you've done? Are you represented by agents and managers?

Do you know how to slate or audition? There is so much continuous work that goes into an actor or performer and 90$ is not it.

It is neverending and always learning and continuously reinventing yourself to become famous. So if you want to become famous get the work done and REALLY invest in acting lessons because the video you posted clearly shows you need to work on your craft but it's not through creating sites.

Wish I read this before I was sold that bill of goods from them

Seems bit unfair in all honesty, look for my IMBD page FABIAN STARR, all of those roles I EARNED are from casting directors in North Carolina, They only cast you if you FIT A ROLE, lesson to you younger actors out there. I submitted to over 200 roles since 2012 and I have been in 13 productions.

That is just the facts of this business, you have to accept lots of rejection. Keep trying hard at it, learn how to audition. ASK FOR FEEDBACK from EVERY CASTING DIRECTOR you can find. Many will have golden nuggets of truth and tips to learn your craft.

The best Advice I can give you is FEEL, IMAGINE and KNOW your role. If you can use inspiration and imagination you will be fine. Life experience is truly the best teacher, so live your life keep trying and someday you will have success. The saying of OVERNIGHT success is the scam.

You will spend many years trying and learning and when you hit it big, they will say, look that actor is an overnight success.

You will laugh to yourself and KNOW that, that is far from the truth. Good luck!

Poor Kid you most certainly are confused it's not a scam first and foremost that is how it works here in Hollywood you're confusing them with an "Agent" Agents are the only ones who do not charge you for signing with them. No upfront cost or upfront fees for submission but they will take a percentage once you've booked a job meaning you've worked it and you have a pay check coming.

I will say the 19.00 month is a bit much because most "breakdown services" charge like 9.99 a month but one thing you must know buddy is that most of these breakdown services will charge you because their NOT agents!!

and as someone stated in the comments below they do not and i REPEAT they do not promise you any "fame" nor confirmation that you will book a job because at the end of the day its up to the casting director if he likes you and your look well enough to bring you in for an audition. So this is advice I'm giving you is coming from a working actor (me) in Hollywood I'm signed with an agent and I'm pretty familiar with how this industry works hope this sheds some kind of a light and education of this business for you :) good luck

if they are asking you for anything- saying that it would be better for you in any long haul for a better chance to be exposed. it's still a "false promise" in a "chance that something might happen!" still a scam.

the poor kid is the one living in Receda,CA. yea...keep calling yourself a pro.

they never said anything would be "better" for you it doesn't state that anywhere their saying give it a shot and its up to you to determine if this "breakdown" service is for you not everyone gets the same results and fyi agents use multiple breakdown services including this one so the person from Reseda CA knows exactly what he's talking about you and the kid who thinks its a scam are confusing Breakdown services with Agents. This industry even when signed with an agent is a chance at being exposed yet they aren't promising you anything either. Anytime you work on a project you're exposed to directors and you're able to network I've gotten (booked) some wonderful jobs through these breakdown services and actually because SAG and guess what they never promised that either so just understand this the opportunity is there then take it but if not then don't their not forcing your hand or making any promises.

This poor kid doesn't understand how the entertainment industry works. The site doesn't make ANY promises whatsoever.

The site is a service for talent to upload there headshots and reel to be considered for an opportunity to audition for a film or tv shows. And that's not always a guarantee if you don't look or fit the role.

Nobody in Hollywood promises you anything!!!! You have to prove your worth with your talent.

That's how you get cast in film and tv. Take an acting class and learn how the business works.

This poor kid needs someone to educate him about the business before the REAL scammers scam him.
