Cass Birch Dodge

My mother bought a 2005 dodge caravan from Cass Birch Dodge in Valdosta, GA in October 2010. We have had problems since day one we bought it. The salesman told us it was a 1 owner van and that it had went through a thorough inspection and that the engine was like new.

Every time we put gas in it it dies on us. The heater stopped working. It lost a gallon and a half of water. All fluids were full the morning we took it to the dealer including the radiator, we had not put any water in it for over a week and both radiator and reservoir were full before we left the house, none had leaked out anywhere in that last week.

When they called us to tell us what was wrong with it this is as far as I got before I got so angry with them that they hung up on me twice...They said the radiator was busted, the valve cover gasket was leaking, the front crank seal was leaking, thew oil pan gasket was leaking, the transmission cilinoid pack was placed, and the lower intake gasket was leaking...At this point i was so infuriated bcause they wither sold my mother a lemon or they are just telling us all this was wrong and it wasn't, I don't know, but the pple at the dealership are liars. The van actually had 2 previous owners, the salesman lied to us.

Chrysler/dodge company was contacted to see if they would do anything about it and they said no. Just a warning to anyone in the Valdosta, Quitman Georgia area, NEVER use Cass Birch dealership for anything. Don't even buy a new vehicle from them. The guys in the service dept are all crooks as are the salesmen. The receptionists have no idea what they are doing and they hang up on you that is when you get them to answer the phone. The Office Manager is never available..Just an all around Horrid experience.

The worst thing is that my mother is on a fixed income and bought this van thinking she was getting a dependable vehicle and less than 7 months later, she has to drain her savings to get it fixed.
