was selling a 2015 Cadillac cts luxury edition...was quoted $18,000 -$21,000
then I made arrangements to meet with an appraiser named John Vartan
we met and he quoted me $18,500 and said I could probably get $19,000
60,000 miles on my car...we made agreement to meet and he would issue check
I started asking about the company because they have many different names
with customers leaving bad feedback....on the day of the meeting texted john vartan
to confirm our 10 am appt... I asked can he come with me to the bank and he said
he could not so I became suspicious about this company ...this company says
they have a bank called city national bank...called city national bank
they say they have never heard of cash4usedcars and I would not be able to cash a check
their....so I confronted and talked to john about this and when he started to understand
that I know this company is a scam all of a sudden he changed his phone
number even though we talked a day before and now his phone says voice mail not set up
yet....THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM....THEY HAVE MANY DIFFERENT NAMES
STAY AWAY....DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TITLE UNTIL YOU HAVE MONEY IN HAND

Sold my car for a fair price, fast and hassle-free!!

I sold my car after months of unsuccessful attempts. The girls on the phone during the initial contact were very professional and had a high level of communication with me and it was only because of Autumn's and Patricia's great conversations that I stuck with it to the final end resulting in selling my car.
While I could have gotten more, I am sure, by working the private car sale lines (Craig's list etc.), the way this was handled was very fast and professional and I got my money the same day. I just did not have the time to put into dealing with all the hassle and phone calls and showing the car, to private parties. I feel what they gave to me was a fair price for a dealer payment. Bob was very tolerant with me and had patience and remained in good communication throughout.
I will recommend this company anytime to anyone. Thanks very much.

This company pretends to be everywhere. I live in Los Angeles and called them to take my car to their location in the area and they said no we'll come to you.
I did accept that and they sent an appraiser, BUT I should have listened to my wife and not allow that. The guy raised my blood pressure after his dumb comments. After an hour I felt that it was not worth it. My wife, which I regret not listening to initially, found another company called Trade in Solutions which I recommend highly.
They treated me well and best of all they did not feed me with BS. I went to add my complaint about cashforcars or cash4cars.com but for some reason couldn't. Their real name isn't that. They operate under other names which I found through other sites.
Imagine how long I had to search for a site to post my comment about this company until I found this site.
I am glad to find this site. About time.

You seem to be confused about who you were doing business with - which is unfortunate. You specifically mentioned cash4cars.com in your review and stated that the company did not have a physical location in or near Los Angeles for selling your car (which is likely true, considering they are located in Seattle, but do business in the Los Angeles area as well).
There are many car buying services that use "cash for cars" in some way in their name - but please do not link Cash4UsedCars.com located in Anaheim to your negative experience with Cash4Cars.com.
You could not have been referring to Cash4UsedCars.com - the company does have a physical location in Anaheim where you can sell your car and receives a 5-star rating on Yelp from their customers for their services: http://www.yelp.com/biz/cash-4-used-cars-anaheim.

Thanks for the information. The whole reason I'm looking to sell my car in this way is to reduce stress and save time. Sounds like Trade In Solutions is a better bet.
