I had the exact same experience with Cascade as you all have had. No need to repeat it because they don't care.
BUT...
!I WOULD LIKE TO WARN EVERYONE! that their contractor does not check the water pressure to the house before connecting the water line to the house. These houses can only take 80psi, mine was 240psi! It kept blowing up the water heater and I am now watching the rest of the water systems before the warranty period ends.
So if you've had any problems with your water heater or water systems, it's probably due to your water pressure which Cascade DOES NOT check prior to connecting the water line to the house. This goes against Fleetwood's install manual and Oregon state regs for installers. Class action anyone?
Changed the final closing invoice to charge me twice for a dishwasher and add a $650 fee(?) for standard (NOT upgraded) cabinets. Neither of those charges were in the first two invoices they presented for this same home.
That, right there, is fishy too. Why three invoices for the same home?
I don't know why Fleetwood allows Cascade to sell their homes. Cascade's heinousness business practices reflects extremely poorly on Fleetwood as well.
See, I told you they wouldn't care. THEY ARE TO CHECK THE PRESSURE PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE WATER PER OREGON STATE REGULATIONS AND FLEETWOOD'S INSTALL MANUAL.
NOWHERE DOES HE SAY THAT THEY CHECKED THE WATER PRESSURE PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE WATER. NOR DID THEY TELL ME THAT MY PRESSURE WAS TOO HIGH. WHY? BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T CHECK IT LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE.
FLEETWOOD CAN VERIFY THIS AS THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE WATER HEATER. FLEETWOOD
Preferred solution: Full refund
They are keeping a 29,319 dollar deposit for a home I cannot get permits for
The link below is a website I made to inform other people
www.cascadefactoryhomesoregon.com
This company is not refunding over 29k on a mobile home that was never built. We were denied permits to place any new septic system and subsequently any new home on our land.
In fact, we just sold that property for a huge loss. The company confirmed that no home construction EVER started. We even offered to pay them the commission they would have originally made. The owner, Wayne Kennedy has refused.
I have reached out to the BBB, WA and OR attorney general offices but they won't do anything on our behalf.
I normally dont get others involved in my business but we could really use some help on this one. Thank you.
User's recommendation: Do not do business with these people, they have no integrity
The owner Wayne kennedy is a thief
I put a deposit for 29,000 for a mobile home, find out I cannot get permits due to my septic not approved. Cascade will not refund my 29,000 dollar deposit because it was a non-refundable contract.
The home was never even started to be built either. Being a fair man I offered to pay a fee because I think nobody should work for free.
But no he thinks he gets to keep my money. Read all the reviews on this company, I wish I did.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Never do business with this company

READ PAGE 13 IN CONTRACT. RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
6/6/2017 PS: Mr. "Y's" home has been completed and ready to ship since 3/31/17.
In talking with his lender it appears he was taken advantage of by his local contractors, taking money for work they didn't then preform. Cascade was an easy target for his frustration. We will be shipping his home to him as soon as he has his site ready. Hopefully soon.--------------------------------------------------------------"on October 12th, 2016 I advanced $21,500 sent to Cascade Factory Homes, Inc."On this date Mr.
"Y" signed a contract instructing Cascade Factory Homes to order him a home. He provided Cascade with a down payment as he mentions and we proceeded to order his home as instructed."right after I sent the money it has been impossible to talk with Wayne or Scott many unanswered emails and calls"Scott had some health issues that kept him from always making it into the office during December and I was out of the country for three weeks. This was explained to Mr. "Y" and his response was to get abusive with my staff and as you can see, post this on Yelp!."now a days they don't even answer their phone, is clear that the way they do "business" is gangster like with total lack of core values"A rare snow storm hit the Northwest Wednesday the 14th of December.
(A Google search will show that this storm closed schools, government and businesses during this time.) For their safety, our staff closed early on the 14th and were unable to re-open our doors until the following Sunday due to dangerous driving conditions. I reported these circumstances on our website during this time.Unfortunately, our answering machine was overwhelmed with messages and we did lose and unknown number of messages. None of these events affected the progress of Mr. "Y's" home which is safely ordered and is waiting in-line to be built.
But we are left to deal with postings like this and threatening messages he has left on our answering machine after hours. Our goal is to provide our clients with quality homes at the lowest possible price and we get many clients thanking us for our efforts. In 2016 Cascade Factory Homes helped 123 families satisfy their housing needs, the vast majority are appreciative of our prices, the homes and service we provide. It's unfortunate that less then one percent using a forum like Yelp! can make a business look bad.
I believe President Lincoln said "You just can't please all the people all the time". I think 99% out of one hundred twenty three comes very close.
