Worst worst worst, the service was not good , and getting many calls in a day if you search anything

Aug 30, I had all seals around all windows replaced because they shrunk away from all the windows. They have since fallen off and had to be reinstalled twice now.

Then I brought the RV back in for a slide guide on the left that Forrest River did not install at the factory. I brought the rig home and the glide slipped out from under the slide. Brought it back into to repair in the middle of Sept. After that repair my slide seal on the inside left was ripped, so I brought it in to fix the rip that was caused during the first repair of the slide guide.

So after that was fixed we brought it home and the slide guide fell off again this time it ripped the outside seal. When I called to speak to Clifton the service manager he was rude. He would not listen to me that they ripped the guide and we had to send him a picture. I had repeatedly told him the slide needs to be adjusted it sits too far to the left and the pullies on the cable need adjusting.

He is told me they could not fix my slide, sent me home with it unrepaired But they kept getting warranty repairs for the seals that kept tearing yet not fixing the issue. So the 5th time O took it O requested to speak to General Manager Jim Cox who threatened to send me down the road when my slide was stuck open becuase i was frustrated i had to bring RV back five times for repairs!

Brought it home the final time and they had glued rubber pieces on the slide guide and the all fell off when opened. So done with this company and want to warn others of their scam on warranty repairs!

Highest Prices - NO SUCH THING AS LOW PRICE GUARANTEE. They advertise a Low Price Guarantee but they won't even come close to written offers. Just like another poster said, you get an email saying they will not give their units away. They should not be advertising a Lowest Price Guarantee then. Shame on you, Carpenter's Campers! We expect more from a family owned business.

1) Note the email from Carpenters Campers clearly states their Lowest Price Guarantee relates to "written offers from 3 states". Not "Our Lowest Price" No mention of requiring a Buyers Order or other requirement. I submitted a written offer from CampingWorld where it was stated that management authorized an out the door price for that unit of $XX. It was a written offer.

2)Greg H called me to say that the price was really low, they don't give their campers away. Greg said that I would need to produce a Buyers Order. It would have cost me $500 (not $500,000 as Mr. Cook states) and a promise that I was purchasing the unit at CampingWorld for them to provide me a Buyers Order. I refused to do that because, as I clearly stated, the unit at CampingWorld had an interior I didn't like nor was I willing to lose $500 in the process.

4) Greg H quoted me a dollar amount that was nearly $6,000 higher than the same unit at CampingWorld as reflected on the written quote I provided them. In a subsequent discussion with the Sales Manager at Carpenters Campers, he reiterated they could not meet the price, it was too low. I know it was a good price - I negotiate contracts for a living. Contrary to their (false) advertising, not only could they not beat it, they didn't even TRY to come close to it.

They didn't want to work with me because I am a seasoned RVer and an informed consumer. They could not trick me or BS me so they did whatever they could to "make me go away".

5) Last week I purchased the 2019 unit at RVOne for exactly the price that RVOne quoted me in email, which was $2,500 less than the quote from Carpenters Campers for a 2018 model that is one year older. It was a pleasant sales experience at RVOne. No excuses, no lies, no fake advertising.

Don't be fooled! Do your homework before talking to this dealership and you will find a much better deal elsewhere.

Carpenter Campers in Pensacola, Fl. Has the best customer service of any place ive been.

They are excellant at fixing damage done by owners like myself who do *** things that wind up tearing open one corner of my camper.They go that extra step to caulk and clean the entire unit. I just love going there.
