Verified Reviewer |Issue with communication of cremation of my pet.
- - On Jan 30 I was told Mila would be returned in 1 week to 1.5 weeks.
- - By Feb 10 no call was received; Tabitha later claimed Mila was back on Feb 1.
I recently visited the Hanes Mall Blvd location where I had my baby girl put down on the 29th of January.
On Tuesday, January 30th, I called and told the team what I wanted to do with my dog, Mila. I was told it would take a week to a week and a half to get her back.
It is now February 10th and I still never gotten a call.
I called the front desk today, February 10th, at 12pm and asked them for an estimate on when I would get my dog back. She (Tabitha) told me that they got her back on Wednesday, February 1st. We never got a call!! Tabitha claimed she called and was unable to leave a voicemail; However, I know this is incorrect since we never got a call and the voicemail is set up and in service.
I then contacted Agape Cremation services and they gave me very helpful information to see the dates and times of their interaction with my pet.
If there was a call, why did they not call again?
I was told that they call once a week until someone comes to claim an animal, but yet it had been almost 2 weeks and we never got a single call.
This is completely unacceptable.
There is no reason why the people at the Hanes Mall location can neglect their responsibilities when it comes to people's pets. These are members of our families and I am so disappointed in the actions and behavior of the people there.
Preferred solution: I would like an explanation and an apology. A refund would be nice, but money can't bring my dog back. The lack of compassion and understanding is tremendous and there is no reason why they would be so neglectful of our pet.
User's recommendation: They will charge you way too much money for a slim chance they will be able to diagnose your pet, usually when they get to the diagnosis, the pet will be on the brink of death.
Fleeced and ripped off
- - Charged a $1,300 bill after 9 hours diagnosing a dying dog.
- - Director would not adjust the bill amid miscommunication.
Carolina Veterinary Specialist fleeced me out of money, and did not show any compassion to my compliants and when I bought it their attention the Director stated that he was not going to change the bill even though it took the Doctor 9 hours to make a full diagnosis on a dog that was already dying. This man stated that even though they told me one thing and then waited to later to tell me something else they were standing by this decison so in other words you are stuck with a $ 1,300.00 bill even though we should have called you sooner to inform you of any changes to which would have saved me from having such a huge bill.
